A, I don’t see a world where a squad this good doesn’t get promoted.

The current squad should have more than enough

Decent new keeper
New full backs plus existing
Really strong centre half'sOShea and Esteve outstanding
Strong midfield, and Berge without question a cut above the rest of the division
Wide men , we've so many I've forgotten most of them
Decent up front and if we can get Foster firing eg like the one away at Villa he'll absolutely smash it

It's an A star from me

Impossible to say.2022-23 was exceptional because a squad which was 80% if not more new got promoted, when most wouldn't; and then another roughly 70% new squad in 23-24 season got panned as is not uncommon.
13-14 season favourites to be relegated only 4 new signings and we get promoted.
That in the last two relegations we came straight back up may have made supporters assume that it is the norm for us-this season I am not so sure; we have a very young squad many of whom will have taken a psychological pounding last year from either being ignored-humilation type 1 or repeatedly beaten on the field of play- humiliation type 2. My third worry is how good do our foreign players understand English as they will have to as we try and lift a lot of players whose first language is not English.
24-25 season will not be easy and mid table is a real possibility as WBA Watford and Norwich have found in recent seasons
Leeds will be busting a gut to get out and Wilder who knows this league, as does Parker, has had several months back at Sheffield to know who should stay or go whereas Scotty has just arrived.

Wouldn't like to guess until we have a better understanding of any ins and outs.

Is that a genuine view, when taking other team’s squads into account. Hopefully so, and not you simply setting your stall out in respect of Parker replacing Kompany.

As I’ve said myself, I remain to be convinced by Parker, but he has to be given a fair crack of the whip.

A squad this good simply has to get automatic promotion, Parker will be given a fair crack at it but failure is failure.

Heart says (A)

Head says (B)

(C) or (D) would be a significant failure, imo.
C would be a significant failure
D would be an absolute f****** disaster!

Ill go A.. glass half full

My feeling is that it will be B, top 6.

1st Luton as they have a big strong team, who I think will rampage through the division.
2nd Sheffield United as they have made some astute signing, bringing the Coventry due back together (O'Hare and Hamer) and probably the signing of the season Harrison Burrows. I think we missed a trick not signing this lad.
3rd Leeds United as they had a strong season last time out and will be better for it this time.
4th Burnley, on the whole, I think it will be a positive entertaining season and I am expecting us to win the play off final.
