Re: Blinds advice
It's not quite as jungled now but I'll get round to getting the whole thing sorted at some point.

The thing is if you get it sorted then you have to keep that way .
Re: Blinds advice
Sounds like an improvement has taken place. I’ve a landscape gardener coming at the weekend to quote me for some work. I’ve struggled to find anyone to come but this chap said it’s because everyone is busy but if you don’t get a quote now even for next hear you’ll struggle. We’ll see what he says on Saturday.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Aug 01, 2024 9:09 amIt's not quite as jungled now but I'll get round to getting the whole thing sorted at some point.

Another great thing that comes from this excellent forum/community.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2024 8:45 pmJust pulling up these three year old posts to say thanks again. As per the thread, Ross fitted for me in the kitchen and I was really pleased with the blinds and the service from him.
I want some more blinds now and didn’t hesitate to contact him. He’s been this afternoon and more blinds ordered.
I’ve been given so much good advice on here in my search for local tradesmen.
Glad you're happy and sorted
It's always good to keep it local, especially when the people/company in question does good things for the community too.
It makes it all the more worthwhile

Re: Blinds advice
I started having all this work done in 2018 and I made the decision where possible to use local tradesmen. Through recommendations on this message board I found a roofer, gas/plumber, decorator & then Ross for the blinds. The electrician, who is back next week, is a neighbour.
Re: Blinds advice
If they hadn't invented blinds it would be curtains for all of us.
