Who's in your top five BFC players at the moment?
Just your favourites at the moment - doesn't have to be based on how well they are playing just YOUR personal favourites.
For me
Anass Zaroury - hope he has a stellar season. Top lad
Josh Brownhill - always a smile on his face. Seems to always look out for others
Han-Noah- Massengo - just really want him to get a chance and take it.
Jay Rod - as with Josh - another steady character that seems to care about those around him.
Connor Roberts - Underated in many ways. Quiet character but always has a determination about him
Over to you.

I don’t do favourites but the players I would want in the team more than any others if we were playing this afternoon are Cullen, O’Shea, Berge, JBG.

I’d add Esteve to that list to make 5.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2024 1:04 pmI don’t do favourites but the players I would want in the team more than any others if we were playing this afternoon are Cullen, O’Shea, Berge, JBG.
Keep that group and we’d be well placed to go straight back up.

Re: Who's in your top five BFC players at the moment?
For me: Berge, Koleosho, Beyer (if he can get back to how he was alongside THB) Johann, and a physically and mentally fit Foster.
Obv Benson coming on from the bench for the last 20 or so…

Re: Who's in your top five BFC players at the moment?
Honestly so weird because I don’t feel like I have much of connection with any of these players.
I would probably say Benson is my favourite just because of them goals in the season before.
But honestly not sure about the rest.

In no particular order:

Jay Rod
Massengo
That was a nice surprise as I found it harder than I first thought it would be. Must be getting that real pre season optimism and buzz back

And big shouts to Steve, Benson, Brownhill.
As many allude, that list is too strong for this level.
Excited for this season, can't wait.

Influenced by last seasons performances
Berge

Would not want any of the above to leave unless there is an exceptional price agreed

Re: Who's in your top five BFC players at the moment?
Given that it's not necessarily based on performances I'd maybe go
Vitinho
Esteve
Zaroury
JBG
Koleosho
Honourable mentions to Berge for pure class and Benson for obvious reasons
Hoping all the above have a big season with us this year.

Re: Who's in your top five BFC players at the moment?
As things stand I only recognise players who have given great service to the club.
They are Brownhill, Rodriguez and Gudmundsson.
The rest are simply a collection of individuals who could belong to any club.
It is a soulless experience for me

I'm looking forward to the new season. Call it blind faith or what you will but I believe in Scott Parker. I like the way he comes over in interviews. Yes, I know, you can't always base things on that but I believe in him.Poulton-le-Claret wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2024 10:27 pmIn no particular order:

I'm so excited for the new season even more so than last year going into the prem. I think we may still lose a player or 3 but I'm confident we have the quality in the squad.

Re: Who's in your top five BFC players at the moment?
Actually a tough one...
The five I like the most (although do think it would be different if talking about how good they could potentially be)
JBG
CULLEN
BERGE
OSHEA
ODERBERT
In terms of potential I do really think ESTEVE and KOLEOSHO could be top level players. Also I realise it's a controversial view but I'd say AMDOUNI has something. If he stays and Parker gets a tune from him.... he has the confidence/arrogance that I think players need to really excel amongst the best.

Benson - for being the winger we always wanted
Zaroury - as above
Foster - my son loves him and his Villa performance
Berge - Rolls Royce
Beyer - Those runs and he plays the piano so there's that

Re: Who's in your top five BFC players at the moment?
Yeah I was pretty underwhelmed when he was initially linked with the job, but now he is appointed, there is no reason not to back him 100%.
He needs to get some decent results early doors, particularly against Rovers, but hopefully he is viewing that as a massive opportunity
