He was definitely very laboured and deliberate with his kicking and made 1 or 2 errors kicking but I suspect the majority of that was because of the state of the pitch rather than a lack of ability thing. There were plenty of highlights from last season showing his kicking ability and he certainly isn’t lacking in that dept, although I’m sure I read some Ipswich fans saying he is prone to loss of concentration and mistakes every now and then, should be fun!Foshiznik wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2024 12:32 pmI was one of the first to point out my concerns with Hladky's footwork during the game. It certainly wasn't criticism or Trafford-level abuse by any means, just stating my concerns that he didn't look very assured with the ball at his feet but with the caveat that it was a very small sample size.

Re: Cadiz v Burnley Sun 4th August
Firstly was a brilliant day out. The players and staff made a real effort to interact with the fans. Photos and autographs. Special mention to Scott Parker who spent time with all the fans and made my son's day by chatting for at least 10 minutes before boarding the team bus and signed his shirt and took a photo with him. Great atmosphere and banter, 1.50 euro for a beer.
The game must have been tough for the players, as others have mentioned the pitch, was not the best, very dry surface and we measured 46 degrees at one point. It was tough watching, so god knows how the players felt. First 15 very good then the energy just went from the players. A Disapointing goal to concede. 2nd-half, was much better. Foster took his goal well. Koleasho fast but could improve on his end product. Midfield missed Berge. Thought the keeper did well, my thoughts few misplaced passes were due to the conditions. Subs worked well. Pires impressive. JayRod looked good and his experience could be vital. And finally Agyei looks a real talent, and could be his breakthrough season. UTC

I thought Koleosho was mostly like last season - lot's of pace and some trickery but no end product - except the goal of course. Good to see him and Foster back playing.leightonjameslegend wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2024 4:18 pmFirstly was a brilliant day out. The players and staff made a real effort to interact with the fans.
