Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
If you change address you’re in trouble -
Despite being tied to a single clarets number - you’re address is held separately in a number of places -
Your clarets number account
The shop
Ticketmaster
Friends and family
It’s a shambles
I thought I’d changed everything but got caught out by the friends n family which had addresses from 12 years ago. This crowns over 20 years of IT incompetence at BFC which could have been solved by a school leaver with a copy of Excel.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
I’ve lived at my current address for near 5 years now. Had my season tickets and away tickets posted here not a problem.
It was only when I purchased Sunderland tickets and noticed on the final page that they were being delivered to a previous address, that I started to be concerned.
A quick call to the TO and I’m reassured that they’ve manually updated my address on the system, (god only knows how it changed) so I should get my season ticket and Sunderland tickets this week.
Funnily enough, my 6 year old son’s season ticket has arrived, but mine hasn’t.
I can’t even begin to understand how the cock up has happened, I’ve a ticketmaster account that I use quite regularly and that only has my current address registered to it. I’ll give it to the end of the week before I speak with the TO again, but I’m not holding much hope.

Just spoken to the ticket office - even if the correct address is set on your account and Clarets number - because they are "a few months behind with their system updates" it will go to the address that was on the system before they tried to update it
Whoever is in charge of the IT at BFC really needs to be locked in a room with the set-piece coach.

Cock ups happen because of incompetent people who don’t double check or get someone else to sense check their work. Also a lack of effective management.
These are very prevalent in many departments at BFC. Sadly.

It’s taken me weeks to sort out my loyalty points - several emails and calls where I repeatedly told them they had calculated it wrongly….which they finally admitted last week. They even sent me a data dump of the last 5 years to show why they thought they were correct and when I added it up it proved I was correct.
During one of the conversations they asked whether I was still at an address I’d moved from a couple of years ago. I said that I wasn’t and I’d changed the details on line and that they were sending stuff to me new address. I checked my online account and it was the new address. I’ve checked all my other accounts today and they look correct. I haven’t got a clue what database the person in the ticket office was checking which showed my old address but it kind of confirms what you are saying that they are in an absolute mess and nobody in the office as an ounce of the necessary knowledge to fix it.
More worryingly nobody in a senior position in the club is taking accountability for this or care enough about the supporters to put a stop to the shambolic ticketing processes. They seem to accept the fact that they are going to get lots of things wrong, receive loads of complaints and calls but at the end of the day if the supporter wants to go on the match then one way or another they are going to have to resolve it themselves because if they don’t it’s the fans who lose out not the club.

I'm far from the greatest expert on the subject but I would think holding outdated addresses after you've informed them of the change is a GDPR breach. Possibly posting your tickets to the wrong address too.

I’d say the club is ran like a corner shop but that would be unfair on corner shops.

Don't disagree at all. I guess maybe it's a useful thing for people to be aware of when dealing with the club though.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
Really don't understand why we have a new card printed every season, massive pain for everyone including the ticket office.
I had issues in Aug 2021, season card never turned up. Notified ticket office weeks in advance, refused to post a reprint out. No form of postal tracking available on the season card, was told they were sent out by an external company in June. Could collect my reprinted season card from the ticket office Mon to Fri between 9 to 5, which was no good to me. I suggested a temp ticket for the first game, was told it would be a £5 reprint charge even though it would be a eticket. First full game back from lockdown break and ended up in a massive queue to collect my season card, missed kick off and our goal, another big queue at the turnstile to find out that the reprinted card wasn't active. Thankfully plenty of others were in the same boat so the steward just let us in. Ticket office later blamed the steward via email for scanning my card twice, which he didn’t.
My season ticket is now on the Burnley FC app, games are listed but not yet active. I saw a couple of people try and use it on the turnstile last season with no joy. Hopefully the card turns up in the next few days.

On the clubs main website under the governance section there is an email address for the clubs data protection officer.
Don’t bother using it though as it will be bounced back to you. It’s an incorrect email address.
You couldn’t make it up could you ?!!!

Lived at my current address and had tickets delvers for the last 2.5 years!
I’ve emailed the ticket office as I was unsure how else to contact the club about this.
I tried to find a place to edit my address when logged in on the club website but couldn’t find this either.

I’ve posted on X about seemingly constant need to replace them and a member of the FAB replied
Still doesn’t explain why these only appear to be valid for a single season thoughThe provider of last season ticket cards went bust, there was no choice in replacing them. This was out of the clubs hands.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
I received mine yesterday, courtesy of one of my daughters who, luckily, knows the people who bought my house 2 years ago. The website shows my new address and postcode in all the various and different possible locations there are. (why there's no joined up thinking is anybody's guess)
Anyway, very worryingly, we are due to move again in the next few weeks and return to Burnley when the sale and purchase are completed, Being in Burnley today I took the opportunity to call in the ticket office to ask some questions. To be fair to the young lass who helped me there, the issue has been resolved for the time being(or so I'm led to believe !!!). Apparently they've had a lot of problems and a lot people have been calling in to sort it out.
As alluded to earlier in the thread, the wrong data has been transferred over to ticketmaster !!!!!! As I pointed out though, not everybody has the ability to call in the office to sort this kind of cr@p out. I was assured that If my card had gone missing I could have reported it and I would have been issued with a new card, with a new code and the old card would be void. How reassuring.
I await, with bated breath, the outcome of my pending move.
Shocking and shambolic doesn't cover it.
The earlier suggestion to lock the IT manager away with the set piece coach is a brilliant idea and rather funny were it not so sad.
Here's hoping that the cards work on the day. I, for one, will be going to the ground quite early for the Cardiff game to ensure all goes smoothly.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
I've not got a card yet, but since I've lived in the same house for 40 years they must have had a different reason for losing it. (This one is probably on the GPO. We haven't had any post at all today or yesterday.)
