Lyle Foster

Post by Craigyp01 » Sat Aug 10, 2024 12:32 am

We all know that Lyle has had mental health issues. As most of us have

We also know that he's the best striker we have and a guy that will set the championship alight!

So how about a chant... 'he's gone off our own...'

But he already has a chant and he’s not “one of our own” but other than that, you make a good point

Looking back, some of my 'better' ideas have come about in the early hours of the morning after a few beers.

Could see it in his eyes he wasn’t well at all. Really really feel for the lad and I hope he’s on the right path now. Said he’d die for VK so I hope SP treats him the same way and we see him absolutely smash the championship….40/1 to be top scorer on bet365 last week

Would love to see him have a great season. He’s got all the ability in the world.

Couldn’t quite believe what I was seeing at the start of last season. He looked like a totally different player to the one we’d seen glimpses of in the championship.

I don’t think ‘ most of us ‘ do have mental health issues.

Just need to get everyone singing “ Tsamina mina” song. Loudly. That is quality.

He can be sensational. Lacks one thing ie consistency. However had he possessed this he would by now have gone for lots of money. Lets hope Parker can get the best out of him-if so he is in for a fantastic season

Agree. And Parker has got the best out of strikers in the past.

Playing him in his best position all season will be a start.

I think we need to stop with Odobert as a number 10 or strike partner with him. Watch Mission to Burnley 2 last night just reminded me how good koleosho was on the left wing going straight to the byline and in to the box to supply Foster. If we can get Odobert doing that from the left with the same pace, defences would be lost.

His current chant is one of the best we have.

Though most players who get half decent chants lose form , get injured or leave ! Eg Zaroury, Benson , Tella . Koleosho ( though that chant was just dire )

Foster can never be “ one of our own” but looking forward to a great season from him

The Koleosho Amdouni Foster link brought the best out of all three in my opinion. Amdouni certainly played his best football when linking with Luca.
