Lizard identification help

Does anyone know what this lizard is? I've done a cursory search but I'm struggling. Found under a rock in my garden in the middle of France, altitude 700m

It's a Fire Salamander.

Are you sure? It's long orange stripe might suggest not??

For me that's definitely the European marbled newt (Triturus marmoratus) found predominantly in France and Spain.
