Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
Im a postie. If anybody would like me to search the frames of where they live and see if they are in there (not gone out on the duty yet) then let me know and I’ll look for you tomorrow
Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
I'm sure this has been asked already, but why on earth are the club wasting all this time and money replacing perfectly good season ticket cards? Surely they should only be replaced if they're damaged for any reason?
Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
If you haven't yet received your ST I'd call in and get them to provide you with a replacement. Just picked mine up from an address which I left over 2 years ago.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
Surprise surprise our season tickets have been delivered to a house we haven’t lived in for over three years, even though I have received post from the ticket office at my new address for for the last three years.
This is stunning incompetence. I will need to spend an hour tomorrow to pick them up but imagine it will be a lot more inconvenient for many others.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
Haven't had mine...moved back north from St Albans last year but have had various tickets sent to my home address up here since then. I have no way of going to St Albans or communicating with the people who bought my flat there. Think I'll have to visit the Turf on Thursday which is the only time I can get down there this week.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
I asked that question to someone at the Ticket Office yesterday.
The reply was 'it must be because we got relegated, or summat'
Insinuating that they had Premier League logos on them, when they didn't?
Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
Mine finally arrived this morning and surprisingly at the correct address.
Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
Hahahahaha! Got in touch with the people who live in our old house (luckily we know them)…lo and behold my two lads’ season tickets have landed there. We haven’t lived there for over 8 years (plus as I mentioned I have told the ticket office on a number of occasions to make sure they have my new address).
Better still, the wife’s cousin had their ticket arrive at an address from 3 house moves ago (approx 7 years). They definitely didn’t have season tickets back then?!? They found out via Facebook after someone posted on a local town talk site asking if anyone knew who they were!

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
Somebody on the FAB said the reason for the new cards this year is that the provider of last season ticket cards went bust so there was no choice in replacing them which is fair enough, but doesn’t explain why it looks like we’ll go through the same again next season as these have “Season 2024/2025” printed on them

Is that TeamCard? If so, their hologram logo is on this season's cards.wilks_bfc wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2024 8:11 pmSomebody on the FAB said the reason for the new cards this year is that the provider of last season ticket cards went bust so there was no choice in replacing them which is fair enough, but doesn’t explain why it looks like we’ll go through the same again next season as these have “Season 2024/2025” printed on them

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
Looks like I am going to have to drive over from Leeds to the ticket office tomorrow to get two printed for my son and me. I am busy Thursday and Friday and am not prepared to wait until matchday given the expected total chaos that is likely to be at the ticket office before kick-off,
Tried ringing the ticket office this morning and was told all operators were busy so to leave a message and they would get back to me. Guess what, no-one did. Both mine and my son's tickets are missing. Pathetic service in this day and age.
I hope they will print my son's card for me. I have his old card from last season which contains all his seat details etc. He is also on my Friends and Family list.
They'll get both barrels from me when I get there.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
Will you restrict "both barrels" for the person responsible and only that person, or will you be shouting and bawling at anyone who happens to be in the vicinity regardless of fault?leedsdave wrote: ↑Tue Aug 13, 2024 11:34 pmLooks like I am going to have to drive over from Leeds to the ticket office tomorrow to get two printed for my son and me. Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
I probably won't shout and bawl at anyone. In my experience the desk staff at the ticket office have always been extremely helpful. It is not their fault that the infrastructure to support them is so pathetic.
I am just completely frustrated that the club has left it so late to start sending the cards out such that mine hasn't arrived 4 days before I need to use it and apart from tomorrow I have no chance to resolve it before the first matchday.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
I’ve just been down to sort mine out as they had not arrived. Lovey girl in the ticket office took the two clarets number and asked if I could confirm the address. Moor end farm salterforth. I’ve never lived there and what’s more for the past 16 years that I have lived at my current address I’ve had season tickets arrive every year and away tickets as well. She changed the address and printed me off two new tickets, with these being printed the ones sent to the wrong address are automatically cancelled.
My advice to anyone who has not received their season tickets and cannot call into the ticket office before Saturday would be to get there a little early as they are expecting mayhem.
Anyway all sorted now.

I agree that the staff are normally very helpful when we ring them, but they can’t blame the technology. It’s people that enter data and do everything else to ensure the infrastructure is working correct.leedsdave wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2024 12:53 amI probably won't shout and bawl at anyone. I’ve just been to the ticket office on my lunch break and they printed me a new season card out within 2 minutes.
For anyone that can get over to the club before the match on Saturday, it’s a very simple process.

Had to get my PA to nip down and get me one printed that he is going to use on Saturday as i can't make it over.
He also managed to upgrade my spare kids (For whichever niece/nephew has behaved badly that week) seat to an adult one for the game against that lot down the road.a

Emails now sent out giving options if you haven’t received one.
1 download onto your phone
2 call in at the ticket office for a reprint
3 order a reprint and it will be ready for Saturday with a recommendation that you collect before 1 pm.
It ends with an apology for any inconvenience caused but offers no explanation whatsoever.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
Went across to Burnley and got both my own and my son's ticket reprinted. No problem with that. Apparently the wonderful new ticketing website had us both listed against my son's address. The young lady in the office couldn't figure out why except to suggest that maybe my son had bought tickets for both of us in the past. He has never done that although I have many times but the system didn't hold my address. Got mine updated whilst I was there.
My son very rarely goes to his house at the moment so it's likely that both of our original tickets are on the floor behind his front door.

There were lots of season tickets holders didn’t get there’s in time a year ago. To allow this to happen again, along with all the data breaches, and with no explanation is totally unacceptable.LincsWoldsClaret wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2024 5:14 pmI think any explanation would amount to admitting a catalogue of data breaches.

The director of fan experience talks about improving things but again disappears up his own backside in silence when there is a serious problem affecting many of us.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
Just had an email about season tickets from BFC ...
We are aware that some of you haven’t got your Season Tickets yet ahead of Saturday’s home game against Cardiff City and that some may have been sent to former addresses.
If your Season Ticket is one of those that hasn’t arrived yet please use one of the following solutions:
Download your ticket
Season Ticket holders can now download tickets to their smartphone for each fixture. You can do this by following the instructions on the below link. Please note that once a ticket has been downloaded the physical season card won’t work for that fixture.
Download your ticket
Reprint your Season Ticket in person at the Ticket Office before Saturday
Please come into the Ticket Office between now and Saturday and we will happily reprint you a new season card. You will need to show a form of Photo ID or provide proof of address.
Reprinting your season card will void any card that has already been sent out.
We have extended the office opening times from 9am until 7pm on Thursday and Friday to help.
Request a reprinted Season Ticket for collection on Saturday
If you can’t get to Turf Moor before Saturday, please click the below link and fill in the form. Please note that the form will only be available until midnight on Friday.
Request a reprint for collection on Saturday
Once you’ve submitted your completed form, we will make sure your season card is ready for you at the stadium Ticket Office on Saturday to collect any time after 9am.
To avoid potential queues and to get you inside the ground in plenty of time for kick off we suggest doing this before 1pm.
We strongly advise all supporters who have not yet received their Season Ticket to follow one of the above actions to ensure they are able to access the fixture as smoothly as possible. The Ticket Office will likely experience large queues in the two hours leading up to kick-off.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
they managed to double book my season ticket somehow, so ive had to change seats, they were very apologetic on the phone today and seem to have been thrown to the lions with the new system... they sent me a ticket via email for cardiff, then a new season ticket has been sent out today, they seem to have had a hell of lot of complaints the past two weeks. Hopefully nobody else has been double booked, i only found that out today when i rang in due to my ticket not arriving. Apparantley they were taking orders for season tickets before and after the new system came in so anyone in the cross fire, there may be cases like mine where folk have paid for a seat on the old system, then someone has done it when the new system came in... if you havent recieved your season ticket and it doesnt show online that youve got tickets to manage, id ring in asap.
Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
So you are saying they posted the season tickets out, knowing that some were going to the wrong addresses?

The ‘proof’ is the large number of tickets that have gone astray - and the quotes from those working in the ticket office - see the relevant thread if you need further details

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
If somebody in the ticket office has admitted that it was an out of date file from a few months ago that was sent to the third party agency undertaking the mailing then it seems pretty obvious that they would know that this would contain some out of date information on addresses.
Bearing in mind that that there is loads of evidence on this board that even the out of date file contained suspect and incorrect address information in the first place they will also have known this too - based on the complaints that they received last year. If it went missing last year and they did nothing to clean up the data then what did they think was going to happen ?
And even if we give them the benefit of the doubt that they did not know it was going to happen then they should have known it was going to happen.
There’s simply no defending this shambles.

Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
After making a special trip to Burnley I didn’t have time to make I have finally got a ticket. They admitted it was sent to an address that had been out of date for 2 years. No apology. My sons had come to my address but they still had to ask for my address even though it’s under his name. I had to spell the name of a local place 9 times. They can’t pull it up under a post code either.
If there’s anyone in Burnley who has zero initiative or even worse are brain dead but they are looking for employment all is not lost. The BFC ticket office will welcome you with open arms. What a complete shambles. Even less efficient than the food ordering points. At least the flashing lights look good.

Staff that can’t read, staff that can’t spell, staff that have no empathy with customers, staff that can’t post to the correct address, no data management, no oversight yet this is a multi million pound business.
Re: 24/25 Season Tickets
I have said it several times now. The problem at Burnley Football club in most or all departments is a lack of effective management.
The most commonly used word in this thread is shambles. This is exactly what it is at the moment.

Haven't received mine,so assuming it's gone to a previous address despite living elsewhere for 4 years.
Hoping they're as incompetent with players wages, so sent my request in to receive Tresors earnings into my bank account.
