For my part I appreciated that the presenter gave both pronunciations of Shrewsbury an equal billing.

The issue is we DO get lucky sometimes. Unfortunately quite often we don’t capitalise. Most recent one I can think of is Lincoln. I’m sure there’s plenty more.

Recent draws for the FA Cup on the BBC have had a graphic of ball numbers and teams gradually being removed as the draw was made. I knew we were in the last four balls but had no idea who we could be getting. It did feel a bit thrown together.

Always the same with the League Cup draw, never really looks very professional at all. Even when it got down to the last two, I'd no idea who we were playing.

It was.

And a few years ago they did the draw in the far east so it was around 3:30 am here. That was when the clown Shaun Harvey was the league’s CEO.
