If given the choice I'd keep Wilson for another year or two. I'll never begrudge one of our players a move like that, if true though.

I'll be disappointed to lose him and thought he'd enjoy another year with us. But it's a good sign that we're signing the right kind of players if they have interest from clubs like Spurs, and it makes us attractive to other players with big aspirations.

It's a bit heavy on the bitter to be bittersweet, but it's a good sign in the grand scheme of things.

If we were to lose O’Shea and Berge, alongside Odobert and the likes of Weghorst, Twine, McNally and a few perhaps out on loan. I’d hope that we can look to bring one or two bit of quality in.

Not sure about the weeping and wailing over Odobert. He had as many poor/average games as good. Obviously a talent but we have enough and if we could use the money to get JBL I’d be delighted.

This is where “undisclosed” comes to hurt the club.

If it is a big fee fans will accept it, if it is a release clause fans will claim incompetence in agreeing one for an 18 year old. People will speculate on the latter. Our board don’t need any further mud slinging after last season. Everyone has to pull together.

Kind of my feelings too. Undoubtedly a very talented player there who will only get better BUT so long as we’ve got a good fee it’s the area we’re best stocked. Not Wilson’s fault but felt in amongst the special moments last year there were a lot of bang average performances and spells where he should have been out the team.

Wish him the best though and sure he’ll go on to have a fantastic career.

Surely that would contradict the "undisclosed fee"

If its a release claues with the obvious pedigree he had already, PSG etc, I'm assuming its at least £40m unless we've messed up.

Most options to buy are time bound and expire within a month or two of the loan ending. I’ll be surprised if we’re still within the window to exercise it.

Every one of our sales (and purchases for that matter), for as far back as I can remember have been 'undisclosed'

True, and lets not forget that it was Koleosho that ripped up the opposition first until his injury and we then had to give Odobert his chance
