ZA shows a great touch, strength, technique and tenacity which mostly seemed to evade him last year.
Pleased for him.

Our strength in depth is actually disgusting for this level...

Amdouni! Great run and goal (even if it didn't go in the onion sack)
Cardiff commentators having a dig there "that's what £19m will buy you". How much was he, didn't think he was over £10m?

It's lucky Preston don't have a manager or he would be sacked.

Re: Burnley v Cardiff
JBG cut in from the left wing into the centre, they backed off him. Cuts the ball back to the edge of the D and fires a right-footed shot into the left side of the goal.

Jasus.
Even if we were 2-0 down at HT, I still think we would have had a ability to turn it around in second half (ala Sunderland away).
Were not in it at all first half, second half turned the screw to breaking point

Very, very early days but draws in other games can't do us any harm.
Re: Burnley v Cardiff
Seems Parker is willing to make tactical adjustments at halftime. Can't say that makes me unhappy one bit.criminalclaret wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2024 4:57 pmJasus.

Re: Burnley v Cardiff
The absolute best thing for our raw but talented youngsters like Zeki and Koleosho etc, who were thrown in at the deep end last year, is a season of completely dominating the Championship.
Give them a year of developing and gaining confidence before making a strong impact in the PL. I really hope that they all stay, don't have their heads turned and the club doesn't sell.
Played pretty poorly but scored 5 goals, says it all.

They were up 2-0 at halftime, were pegged back to 2-3 in the 2nd, then scored two late to win it.criminalclaret wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2024 4:59 pmBristol Rovers 2 down at HT, Scot twine just got the winner 4-3!

Re: Burnley v Cardiff
Can’t help but wonder if we’d adapted our tactics last season instead of making the same mistakes over and over we wouldn’t be where we are. Our players look a cut above. Great win. UTC.
