Well I wouldn't call selling our best player 'excellent business'. He's clearly Premier league level - Sheffield were so far off the pace without him it was untrue - and 20m (add ons quite often don't end up emerging so would depend) doesn't really reflect that (or his worth to us for that matter) but with a wage of 70m and our need to sell makes it understandable.

Was hoping he would stay and be a lynching for us in the top league next year (or move o if we failed to get there) but hey ho.

All the best Sander - you were our standout player last season and deserve to paly at that level

Let's refrain from slashing our collective wrists just yet, remember we battered both Luton and Cardiff without him.
Odobert the bigger loss for me, but basically we were bound to lose them both when we were relegated, WO was obviously talented.

They would both have been great if/when we go up, but next season is a long way off and we can deal with when we're up.

Szmodics featured against derby came on as a sub & scored. Please stay on topic otherwise I'll refuse to engage.
Keep off topic chaps.

Good luck to the lad. He ran his socks off, end to end for us.

I agree we need to replace Berge, but we already have arguably the best CM pairing in the division in Cullen and Brownhill. I don't think there's a team in the league that wouldn't take one or both of them. If we sign Hannibal and we keep Massengo we should have more than enough.
I agree we have some good options but just think we are missing a midfielder who is comfortable in possession with Sander leaving. It’s certainly not Brownhill’s game.

That's true, there's no doubt Sander brought a bit of calmness to proceedings. Given the number of sales we've made, we need to make sure any incomings are first team standard and able to challenge for a starting position.
