Before every game the big screens announce that if you spot anything wrong at the Turf you can text the officials to report it.

Er, no I can’t because nothing works at the Turf. (I’m on Giff Gaff that uses O2 network)

I wonder if they actually get any ‘reports’ from anyone?
Someone working for BFC probably has to produce a monthly breakdown of how many issues have been raised.

“Nothing to report again this month”

Even after the game it's a good 10-15 mins before you get a good signal

Having spoken to a number of female members of WYClarets about this on a walk the other week, they said that they’d tried to address this issue about mobile reception with the club and that not having the ability to check messages, make a call, after the match, when meeting others, has not been ideal. They said it sometimes makes them feel unsafe. I do think it’s something that needs looking at.
Not the clubs fault that national phone companies signal fails when loads of people, in the same location, try and get online at the same time.

Talkmobile is a similar thing but more aimed at the older generation who just want the basics & aren't bothered about endless social media data that voxi draw.
Aye but the difference is Voxi is owned directly by Vodafone and has the same customer support etc. I was on Vodafone anyway, so didn't even need to switch my SIM card

I’m on ID (3 network) and can’t do anything. In fact after the game I need to be up at the train station before something will send.

Think it’s a Burnley thing as I go away games a lot and phone normally works in the ground fine.

Horses for courses different things suit different people. I don't need any whistles & bells sometimes I find the thing a damn nuisance if I'm being perfectly honest.

Well, at least we know the reason for the lack of signal at the Turf.

It's all sucked up by Matt Williams mobile while he does transfer business.
