Only five of last week’s 11 starting.

We win 6-0 today, then?
Esteve, Brownhill, Rodriguez, Roberts, Vitinho, Pires, Foster all started last week and Trafford was ill.

The ones missing from the starting 11 are O'Shea (off?), Cullen (injured?) and Koleosho (injiured?)

Won’t be long before Pace and Ball are crying about the atmosphere again.
They won’t be crying for long with their bank balance.

It's a top 6 side. We just need to get lucky with the playoffs.
I’m not convinced it’s a top six side, but hopefully additions to come in.

We should be expecting and aiming for automatic, not a play off lottery. That becomes very difficult if we sell so many and don’t replace with genuine quality.

I’m worried that last year’s haphazard and costly summer window will be felt for many years to come!

The absentees can't all be leaving. Just not possible.

A draw would be enormous.

Maybe, lol. Although he did say Vitinho was refusing to play, as well.

Usual overreaction on here.

Yes it's weaker. The spine isn't bad though. It will compete today. I'm not especially scared of many Sunderland players, are you?

We're linked with plenty of signings. No need to panic. Still in a much better position than last relegation.

Let's see what happens.

Very strange line up. Some missing that you can read something in to...Weghorst, O'Shea maybe Benson
Some missing but no hint Cullen, Koleosho

Two sub keepers?

Huge overreaction to that team as expected.

Don't know much about Egan-Riley but otherwise it's a really strong team for this league. The bench is thin because of injury/illness.

Probably win today, but a point is fine.

The difference between the Prem and the Championship is about the same as the Championship and League One.

On paper it looks weak, but against the Championship it's a top 6 side.

Shocking what's happened to our club in the past couple of years and I'm gobsmacked as everyone by that line up

UTC obviously but Jesus christ we've gone from walking to the title (in some eyes) to crisis club in days.

Parker to walk next?

Yes, was just saying to my Dad that to be fair to him he's only 21. Thought he was older for some reason - feels like he's been with us for ages. A lot has happened in the last couple of seasons though!

O'Shea wants to leave. It's football, it happens to every club.

Has it all happened at once for Burnley this summer? Yeah, a bit. But you only need to have followed football for about fifteen minutes to know the transfer window doesn't get busy until the last week or so.

If the side hasn't been invested in to replace outgoings in a week or so's time, then yeah - we can criticise a bit more then. But there's every evidence to suggest ALK/Pace will want to boost the squad.

But anyway, back to the drama queenery...

The drama queenery is more fun but I suppose I can reserve judgement until after the window. Still, the changes have taken me by surprise. There are just so many of them. Can't wait until the window closes in all honesty. Not often I say that!

Bench looks light but will people stop with this bed wetting please…

Watching the standard of the league from games I have seen so far, this starting 11 should be able to hold its own.

My take on how we will set up.

Look whether we like it or not this is a complete reset. Players don’t want to play in championship and want to leave. Time to get rid of the ones that want out. Sign new players and start again
