I can't believe how much different we look compared to the last two games. This is awful.
Re: Clarets vs Sunderland

For those calling JayRod, me included, remember that Barnes said he even considered retiring after his abject performance at Sunderland 2 years ago!

I havecchecked my settee. Nothing there.JimmyRobbo wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 4:21 pmWhatever SP has changed, we've been slightly better this half but still no cutting edge.
Anyone find us a goal?

Again, Roberts passes the ball to nobody.
Our RB slot has done that a number of times (not just Roberts).

If he’s able to play - why not start? If you’re bringing him on, why Massengo? Confused????

We win 2-1 now
Re: Clarets vs Sunderland
Vitinho looks miserable
Re: Clarets vs Sunderland
Look exactly the same as we did against Cardiff, only Sunderland are better and didn't gift us a goal. We have less quality in the side so Parker doesn't have that to score screamers and pull him out of it.burnleymik wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 4:21 pmI can't believe how much different we look compared to the last two games. Maybe bring Humphreys on and move Egan Riley to midfield, where he has played before

Re: Clarets vs Sunderland
Messengo for Amdouni that's a strange one. Bold if it pays off
Re: Clarets vs Sunderland
I guess it is plausible most are ill, just some less than others! Would explain lack of energy and taking Massengo off etc.
Be interesting to see what Parker says after.

Lord knows what the formation is now. But if we get a point here, it might be the best point of all time

E-R needs to be careful throwing his arms around and complaining when already on a yellow.

Definitely missing brownhill. Breaking forward but i guess he has to defend with no Cullen by his side

Re: Clarets vs Sunderland
Losing to Sunlan 1-0 away isn't disgraceful. They're a lot better than the teams we've played so far and we're clearly out of sorts. Agree that the performance is bad and there's absolute chaos caused by the player sales, but I think we should expect some days like these, IMO.

I think they were all out the lash last night...look totally shattered, inept and interest really. Lot of moaning at each other as well.

I was just thinking how ZA looked like he was playing with desire and then he passed the ball away while trying to force the pass.
Now defending a corner.

Dyche might be looking for a job soon.
Re: Clarets vs Sunderland
How is Jay Rod still on the pitch, terrible again.
If he's the answer what the hell's the question?
Should have been hooked and left Massengo on

Re: Clarets vs Sunderland
Who cares about the sub? Massengo was garbage and offered absolutely nothing. Not a drop or sweat nor heavy breathing coming off, jogged around like a pony for 60 mins and took the easy pass and option every ball. Hope we never see him again.
Kevin De Bruyne:
"Pass completion percentage? It's one of the most useless stats in football. I can have 96% pass completion and I can play sideways and backwards, I wasn't dangerous for the whole game. It means I've done nothing."
