Re: Cullen
We knew there were some players who had probably outgrown us but the sales of Zaroury and the probable sales of Benson and Al Dakhil are the real kick in the teeth, we had all assumed we'd raise funds through the sales of Odobert, Berge etc but then use some of that to build around the core that is left, we were miles off in that prediction.
If there was a possibility of Cullen leaving then I'd be gobsmacked and pretty despondent.

Re: Cullen
Most influential and consistent player we have who makes us tick.
Unsurprising that our most influential player, best defender and effective attacker were all missing today and we lost.

Re: Cullen
Incredible amount of 'knocks' going round the club at the minute.

Kompany bought players in, especially those with attacking talent

As per last season. He’s the cog in our machine. He’s the first player on that team sheet for me

Re: Cullen
Of to Bayern, remember VK had him at Anderlect and was just about his first signing.
Re: Cullen
Believe Cullen and VK fell out and Cullen has threatened him with the Irish Mafia (his dad’s one of the leaders).Lowbankclaret wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 7:59 pmOf to Bayern, remember VK had him at Anderlect and was just about his first signing.

Re: Cullen
If Cullen isn’t fit at weekend then seriously get Jack cork registered from his coaching role

Re: Cullen
He was genuinely down gawthorpe training this morning with a few other 1st teamers, obviously wasn't fit to play but I'd take Parkers word for it on this one

Rumours on others leaving that you’d normally ignore but hard not to wonder on the reasons for all absentees.Goody1975 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 7:39 pmWe knew there were some players who had probably outgrown us but the sales of Zaroury and the probable sales of Benson and Al Dakhil are the real kick in the teeth, we had all assumed we'd raise funds through the sales of Odobert, Berge etc but then use some of that to build around the core that is left, we were miles off in that prediction.
