What is this? Some sort of goading? If so, OP is totally out of order.

I'm fully expecting the OP to have asked in good faith.

Hope you're OK RC.

It most certainly is not. I want to know how he's doing.

I did day I would try keep you informed. It’s horrible this disease. Luckily I still have full functionality of limbs, but my speech is now mostly gone. The same muscles govern breathing and swallowing so any form of physical activity (eg hoovering) leaves me short of breath. Eating and drinking is no fun at all just a neccesity and I have lost around 2 stone since April. Still managing to work full time from home, but luckily on holiday in Alcudia this week so didn’t see the game yesterday! Not sleeping great hence 5 am posting. No real pain anywhere yet which is a positive. Thanks for asking!

Hi Roper. Sorry to hear about your situation and how things are for you at the moment. I really hope you are getting the best care and love you can get? I think most of us are pretty ****** off with the selling of our best players and the team/performance at Sunderland. I certainly am but reading your reply above has reminded me that it’s only football after all. All the best to you. I wish I could say more but honestly, all the best to you and yours.

Is that what this board is like? A poster asks about the wellbeing of another who is evidently going through a tough time and other posters chastise them for it?

Wow.

I don’t know you, Roperclaret, but it sounds like you’re staying positive through whatever you’re going through.

Not sure how many people are aware of Roperclaret's condition TBH.

The question was asked in a sincere manner.

Thoughts with you, Roperclaret.

Thanks for your reply. It does make me realise that everything going on with the club is tiny. It doesn't even come into play with your every day life.

If you have a designated charity I can donate to, please let me know.

I'm driving down the M1 next weekend, if that fits in with you and Mick's plans would be happy to meet you both.
