Hannibal deal is £5.4M plus add ons/bonuses according to the Athletic. Also Man U have a buy-back clause.

Sounds much better than £9M straight up. Quite happy with that personally.

Leeds had 25 departures in their relegation year - https://www.transfermarkt.us/leeds-unit ... verein/399

And how did so many departures and squad upheaval work out for Leeds United?

Bounce straight back did they or still stuck in the Championship?

Can either Anthony or Sarmiento play on the right? I like Vitinho as a utility player, but I'm not sure he's the long term solution down the right. Unless we put Koleosho on the right? He's quick enough play on the side of his strongest foot

Pre-Chorus:

And all the runs he makes are winding
And the goals he scores are blinding
There are many ways that I would love to sing it to you, but I don't know how

Chorus:

I said Mejbri
You're gonna be the one that saves me
And after all
You're my Hanniball

This is all well and good, but let's get down to the important bit - will Clarice be in the clip.

Was all this transfer chaos "planned" ?? For example would this situation be exactly the same if VK was still here ??

Hannibal seems like an upgrade or replacement for Brownhill to me. We still need someone to replace Cork/Berge IMO. A player with great technical ability that can slow the game down and help to dictate the tempo.

I really hope they don't go down this route. It's just too obvious, and he's probably sick to death of the reference.

Sarmiento has posted a game day post for Brighton vs Crawley on his insta story. Hope this isn’t a sign it’s fallen through.

Excuse my ignorance as not trawling back through all the posts, are there any other links/ rumours apart from the 3 boys who are imminent?

If we could get our hands on another striker, and another strong CM, now I've calmed down after Saturday I think we've had a pretty good window personally.

Never heard of Burnley? The same Burnley with 6 consecutive seasons in the biggest league in the world? Yeah right
Ahh yes, the 6 seasons in the PL where we recruited far and wide from Europe using club name alone to woo in the greatest players Europe had to offer.

We never had a pull apart from able to afford players with higher wages than other clubs due to being in the PL. They weren't coming to be a part of the beautiful surroundings, our rich history, our spectacular views. They came for a payday. Nout wrong with that.

Do you think Amdouni, Koleosho, Oderbert grew up in the native lands dreaming of putting on the claret and blue of Burnley while we were 6 seasons in the PL? Do you think they dream of doing that now without VK or being in the PL?

Maybe all this chaos is a deliberate ploy to give rovers a false sense of hope and we’ll have Cullen, kolesheo, worral along with our main lads starting on Saturday with the new guys on the bench ready to go … one can live in hope lol

So far the only confirmed transfers are the outgoing players, it will be good to get those incoming signings reportedly in the pipeline across the line and actually confirmed as done.
We definitely need another striker who can hopefully replicate the 15+ goals needed at this level for a successful season. Tella I believe got 17.

Said it before - have Roman armour/kit from my days re-enacting. It's the wrong period but happy to lend it to the club. Would need to shift it from the south coast where I live as well. 😄

Absolutely
Points to maybe not having a medical yesterday, he'd probably need another after playing a game, what if he picked up an injury?

Maybe Sarmiento is Luca's replacement, and Luca isn't leaving (yet)?

This is very risky if so since other clubs will know what price we have agreed and could come and hijack the deal, right as we are losing Luca.

IF Sarmiento actually did have a medical for us yesterday and has then gone back to play for Brighton tonight in a Cup game points more to a change of mind by the player. Bizarre situation to say the least.

Absolutely
Points to maybe not having a medical yesterday, he'd probably need another after playing a game, what if he picked up an injury?
A medical is a deep look into your future, an insurance review if you will.
A little knock wouldn't stop a move.

What's the point in a medical if he's still playing for another team though? Doesn't make sense.
Original planned medical yesterday was changed.

How do you know it's only a little knock though?
