Tall, rangy with goals in him (see vs Burnley last season). Sometimes described as lazy. so a lot like Berge. He's the one I really hope we get.

We paid well over the odds for him so there's zero chance he goes at this stage... He has never been a prolific goal scorer over time since his career started and Premier League teams are looking for goal scorers...

That's not to say I don't like him, I do and hope he stays for a few more seasons yet.

May be not Spurs but he was strongly linked as likely to depart. I wasn't aware that applies to Foster. If there aren't any rumours -credible or otherwise - it's best to not just stab in the dark given the purpose of the thread.

We don't have to get them out at all. He signed a contract, which safeguards his future but also means we get to decide if he stays or goes till it expires. I understand you don't want 5 or 6 players in your team all desperate to go. But in this instance; financially and in terms of our promotion chances, it makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. It's a bigger risk letting him go 3 days before the window shuts, than it is to have a 23 year old annoyed temporarily he didn't get a move.

Amdouni leaving is hardly a shock, he'd have been pretty close to the top of everybody's list of players who'd leave.

We can't replace his quality but I'm sure there is a replacement lined up. Once the domino effect started he would never be sticking around.

Come on. This level of turnover is unheard of and has been made from the previous manager and the boards' view of players as commodities.

If a player basically knows that they're nothing more than glorified cattle, then why would you expect them to properly buy in and be committed?

I've always rated him, actually. And he would be absolute mustard in this league. There just isn't a rationale beyond him fancying a move, to let this happen. Sometimes the club's benefit has to take precedent.

Hannibal seems like an upgrade or replacement for Brownhill to me. We still need someone to replace Cork/Berge IMO. A player with great technical ability that can slow the game down and help to dictate the tempo.

I'm not sure how Hannibal can be seen as an upgrade. Brownhill has played 111 games in the Premier League and 161 in the Championship.
Apprently Wolves, Leicester City, Nottingham Forest and Brentford are all interested in signing our captain. He's been there and done it . Two promotions under his belt. Not sure what Hannibal has done other than a less than remarkable season at Birmingham City. I don't doubt that he has potential as he's still only 21 but I wouldn't call him an upgrade.
