Well, people have questioned Parker as a manager. We will find out now how good he actually is, or isn't.
There were a lot of question marks around him while we had the best squad in this league. Right now, I'm not sure it's even good enough to push for play-off spots.

It’s just business. Do you not get it? Buy low sell high. It’s a 7 year project. Do you complain when you go into Tesco’s and your favourite checkout operator has left etc etc etc
I do love the good supermarket analogy.

Guardiola wouldn’t be able to build a promotion winning side in 3 days. Parker doesn’t stand a chance.
Can't believe you are still thinking promotion any longer. We've 44 points to get. 44 nil nils should do it.

These deals in isolation are all somewhere between acceptable and great. £25m for Foster would be fantastic.

The massive problem is the volume and the timing.

Assuming there’s now an intention to bring lots of players in over the next 3 days, what sort of players are available this late on and how much would they cost?

Nobody is letting their best players out this late unless the fee is massive, which only leaves unwanted players. That’s not to say we can’t get several very good players in, but it’s going to be so much harder at this stage.

We’re also effectively going to be starting again in terms of bedding in Parker’s ideas.

Bstards fans who slag Venkys off ought to count their blessings, our shower of sh1t owners have bled us dry whilst not putting a single penny in. The Turf will be toxic on Saturday and the hatred will be directed towards those sat in the centre of the Bob Lord unless there is some miraculous incoming in the next 48 hours.
Can’t see Pace turning up on Saturday, really can’t.

No, I’m suggesting his dressing room outburst was a load of ********.

Only regret I now have for last season is not giving these useless shithouses the grief they deserved.
Me too, I really backed this group and long term vision, It’s quite clear the vision I saw was considerably different to reality. What an absolute shitshow.

Quite frankly f**k the absolute lot of the mercenary tossers and I wish them all nothing but failure. Disloyal shitstains, used the club.

And my love for those remaining has grown.

Genuine question. Can we recall obafemi? We need strikers.
That's another deal I just can't understand. I don't think he'd change much, but surely it would have made more sense to keep him. But who knows, maybe he wanted to leave Burnley to play for Plymouth...

Can we do supporters club transfer - i could be loaned to accrington for a season with an obligation for a season ticket in 25/26 - i believe twix’s are cheaper as an added bonus at Stanley.

When we were flogging more than a few, I didn’t think there’d be any incomings. But now? Surely?!
Looking forward to watching the flight radar tracking all the private jets heading out of Manchester.

This is a get shut of any Kompany signings (bar Cullen hopefully) and last minute grab a load of Scottie’s. It’s bonkers and I fear we may need Scotties tissues.

If Parker manages to pull off a victory against the B*stards after this week he can have a statue outside the ground for me.

I wouldn't have him do any media this week tbh. Close out the noise. We're all behind you, Scott!
Agreed, my emotions have gone from anger, to amazement, to pure laughing now but my heart is saying I'll be so behind those boys on Saturday, who want to play for our great club it's untrue!! Seige mentality setting in...

Getting the points to stay up as soon as possible, is surely the aim now.

I’d be fuming if I was Parker. Made to wait weeks to be appointed, worked hard pre season to get the squad into some kind of shape, now all the main players have been sold.

New signings could take weeks to bed in.

I can't quite believe some fans are still talking about the play offs and promotion.

The smart money is on relegation from here and the bookies have just cottoned on.

I was dead against retaining Jay over the summer, felt he was past Championship level.

At this point, it's looking like that was the best bit of business we did. Probably the only one we can trust will still be here come Saturday.
I don’t actually think it has come to this yet
But if we were to end up in a relegation fight I’d want him in the side for the desire

I just feel like we trusted the ownership, and backed the project last year despite results. Still got behind the team, didn't panic - and for the first game or two of the season that seemed to be rewarded this year despite Kompany leaving. It's going to be a very long season and I don't think the ownership will receive the same support as last year unless things turn around drastically.

I've tried to be as supportive as possible of Foster, but now he's off I feel I can say that I've found him to be an absolute donkey for the most part. A proper ungraceful and untechnical lump, apart from a few flashes.

Amdouni, as much as you adore him, is a weak little fart in the wind who thinks he's good but the ball bounces off him like a council estate wall.

If the reason all these players want to leave is they think they are better than us, and won't play in the Championship, why have they waited until the last week of the window to announce it?

Clearly, something massive has happened that has changed everything. The snowball effect.

I have been offered a name, and jungle drums are adamant it's not a wind up. Same guy once again that gave me interest in Mejbri and Billing before anyone else mentioned it.

I feel like it must be a wind up cause it's like a devine entity must have seen my post from yesterday when I said I didn't know whether it was all strategic, informed choices or blind panic. Well ill tell you now and see if you come to the same conclusion as me.

We have enquired about an Ivorian chap at WHU who has one or two issues with his fitness.

Spare a moment for Josh Brownhill. His agent will be getting offers for 4 or 5 year deal that double his current wage. Frankly, he'd be mad not to take one. However, if he resists at our hour of need he should become legend.

The vast majority of fans, including myself, are blaming the board. I know they have to agree to the deals but maybe their hands are tied? Maybe its become so toxic the easiest option is to get rid and pray to make enough signings before the window.

Rumours doing the rounds that Parker has walked.

Would make sense tbh.
It could be true

But there’s no way there would not be rumours

Let’s be honest here, 25 m for Foster is robbery of the highest order.

Like others have said, we are kidding ourselves that he is any good. He was terrible last time in the championship and in my view even worse in the prem.

I think he could be part of the issue at the club too - get rid and take the money !

Spare a moment for Josh Brownhill. His agent will be getting offers for 4 or 5 year deal that double his current wage. Frankly, he'd be mad not to take one. However, if he resists at our hour of need he should become legend.
Get yourself ****** off Josh I would hope the sentiment from anyone would be.

The ones that don't rate him would surely welcome it and the ones that recognise what he's been and done for us wouldn't deny him it.

Is an injury prone winger what we really need?

Spare a moment for a multi millionaire footballer? Josh will be ok.
