We cannot sell Vitinho, he can play LB,RB, and RW
We only have one fit left back at the club

We have a 6ft 2 left footed cb in Humphreys who played left of a 3 in Germany who I would much rather at left back than Vitinho.
Also once Delcroix is fit he’s a better option at left back to

We do have a lot in the sick bay, but still in the squad, and to be fair most are really good players too.

Hladky
Roberts Worrall Esteve Pires
Massengo Mejbri
Benson Sarmiento Anthony
J-Rod
Updated best first 11 we could put out on Saturday, injuries and known incoming/outgoing quantities included and omitted as necessary?
I mean, I know there's rightly some folk upset but with a top champ striker could still be very competitive at the right end of the league, and there's some great players at this level to come back in.
Ultimately feel it would be the squad that let us down rather than that 11, it's decent.

Sky Sports news just announced talks are back on between Ipswich and Broja for a deal. Sounds like they may have been using Lyle to push through a deal.

£25m is a very good fee for Foster but given what we've sold already I'd be quite happy for him to stay. We need at least some continuity in the team.
Dare I say the panic might be over if we somehow manage to go into Saturday's match with Foster, Brownhill, Koleosho, Benson and Vitinho still in the squad. It's a big ask but it's getting quite close to the deadline now.

For the Premier League it is noon on Friday, not sure if EFL is the same.

They can sell it for a pound having made millions. Face it lads, we’ve been had. Sold down the river. Absolutely screwed. I can’t see a recovery from this in my lifetime or ever, for that matter. An extremely sad time for all of us, to say the least.
My God. That's drastic. No recovery ever.

I think it's at a set time the day before the first game of the weekend.
There is a game on Friday so would presume it is on Thursday.

Hladky/Trafford (Trafford if still with us)
Roberts Worrall Esteve Pires
Massengo Mejbri/Cullen (preferred if fit)
Benson Brownhill Jay Rod
Hountoundji
That would be my starting line up.

Is everything ok at home?
Hello wadeswondergoal,

Latest from Sacha.

Infos #BurnleyFC :

Zeki Amdouni already in Portugal in order to complete his move and sign his contract with #Benfica today.

Vitinho - who wants absolutely to join #Botafogo has an agreement on personal terms with Brazilian side and won't be involved in League Cup's game against Wolves. As told in the press earlier, Clarets received a 7 million offer for him yesterday

I’ve no idea on Sarmiento, seems unbelievable to me that he played for Brighton ahead/instead of travelling for a medical and that we’re still signing him.
Anthony and Hannibal have been training for a couple of days, I was told. I think the news from the likes of Fabrizio and announcements is usually a few days behind.

Tony - sorry to ask but you’re very quiet. I know you weren’t a fan of many of the outgoings, so you’re probably not too distraught, but you also seem very calm.
Have you heard of any potential incomings, bar those reported, that would calm nerves?
Or equally in the dark as everyone else?

It’s feasible that we were happy for him to get some game time in a straightforward match with time to recover for Saturday rather than come to Wolves.

True enough. But we do have a game tonight he could’ve done the same with his new teammates and gelled ahead of a massive game at the weekend?

Fair enough. Still seems strange to me.
As a different point, was impressed how hard he ran (and how fast) to get in to the position to score last night. He also played right, which is interesting.
My biggest concern with him is his pace and that his size/strength, but slightly calmed the pace nerves at least.
