We need a striker … Foster not impressed. Houdini untried …Jay a brilliant servant to Burnley but sadly a step too far now.

Didn't Fulham say they were going to use him this season? They might think he is worth more than that.

Not good news for us. A striker that dosent score goals. And missing a move he wanted.

Saw Rovers have signed Baker from Stoke who I think I would have preferred ahead of Laurent.
Stoke fans seem to agree

Birmingham have just offered 10m for Jay Stansfield.
Had a highly successful loan spell at Birmingham last season and they were hoping to have him back this season. Birmingham may have been given some encouragement by Jay when he played against them and scored in Cup game the other night.

Might be wrong but think both have shorter hair. Maybe they've grown it, or maybe it's someone else. As I'm writing this post I'm realising it's not very helpful.

That's a bit of a risk given long term injuries to Beyer and Ekdal, but potential good news re Esteve.
No way can we afford to let Esteve go now. If Ekdal and Beyer were fit, slimmest of chances. With those 2 out as long term absentees, we would only have Worrall and CJ I think in that position. Perhaps with Bashir who can also play there?

It looks like Julien Vetro if anyone of who we've been linked with/signed, but aware he's already been announced up in Dundee. Maybe he's come back for a tour.

The woman in white would be very tall if it is Laurent. She is taller than most of them and Laurent is 6' 2". Kebabal is 5' 7" so could be a good shout.

SSN is such a tough watch on Deadline Day nowadays.
I find these YouTubers really hard to sit and listen to. I found Jim White annoying but it was much better than this.

Dare I say I think you might have nailed it there. If its the guy nearest to the camera, second from the left. Check his reflection in the window (far left). Does look like him on Google images.

Just done some quick research and you could be right. He is 5ft 7. The glass he is reflected in is probably about 6ft. He seems a few inches off this so it's definitely him.

If we come out of this window having retained
Foster
Koleosho
Brownhill
Esteve
And added
Whittaker
Kebbal
Sarmiento
Anthony
And then potentially Orban or Flemming into the mix?
Well it's the return of Don Pace all over again innit?

Genuine question.
Has there been a single genuinely reputable source tha's reported that Foster is agitating for a move, or is it all the usual utc cack we're going off?..

Just sacha then the football league worlds etc repeating it - looks like he was stirring the pot / doing work for agents as he has with a lot of ours this summer. His backtracking post yesterday was just ridiculous

Does anyone remember all the excitement when we were starved for signings and thought Kamil Grosicki was joining us? Didn't we even track his flight to Manchester? Only for it all to fall through of course. Hopefully there'll be no such disappointments today!

To me it looks like there’s 3 players there. 2 with their backs to us and 1 that’s blocked out but seems like a player too.

Taking McNally from our squad if he goes to Bristol we have 23 man squad of loans and over 21, so ionly room for two additions as loan or over 21 unless one or more of Ekdal Byers,or Redmond are not named in the 25 for the first half of the season or more of those 23 leave us and it seems of the 23 Trafford Vitinho are two who may be going and ?Benson

Pure speculation, but based on finances and what we've been offering, I'd be suprised if we made a big money signing unless Trafford leaves. So, Whittaker, basically, or a top striker. We get £20 million+ for Trafford, and perhaps that opens a few doors.

Most of any £20 million for Trafford will go to City as no idea how much we paid them last year as an initial payment of the reported £14million and then there is their cut of any profit.Lucky to end up with £4million?

What about the Wout / Amdouni / McNally and Viti money, all have left or are extremely likely to leave yesterday or today? I know we don't get it all up front, but is guaranteed revenue into BFC.

A goal scoring striker isn’t vital if you can get your goals from other areas. Barnes only scored 6 goals in our title winning year under Kompany.

Tella got close to 20 though didn't he? His finishing was superb that year, by far our most clinical player. Maatsen created or scored around 10 from LB too. Those two loans alone were super-productive. We're going to need someone to pop up with at least 15 goals I think. Can Foster do it? Maybe if he's motivated but he's not a goalscorer really. Amdouni I feel would've done it but he's obviously gone. I do think we're lacking goals in this side. Ramsey may help when he returns based on his record, and dare I say it Tresor with assists. Would feel a heck of a lot better with Whittaker in the squad.
