They are referred to as the “Chelsea of League One” for good reason if they pull off the Stansfield move.

American owners.
Mind you, they sold Jordan James to Rennes for just £4m.

It will be interesting to see how much game time Cornet gets at Southampton. His progress since forcing a move from us has been underwhelming

I thought it was us making him move because we needed the cash, similar to the McNiel move.Burnley Ace wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 7:52 pmIt will be interesting to see how much game time Cornet gets at Southampton. His progress since forcing a move from us has been underwhelming

Gift Orban on the bench for Lyon tonight, so he isn't going anywhere.

What we all thinking.? Was there someone on the helicopter, or was it a just eat order? Have we got anymore incomings?

Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
Just Zian Flemming to sign.
Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
I think we’re done. Bringing no striker in is negligence.
Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
Has there anything concrete about Flemming or just wishful thinking’s thinking ??

The Burnley Way on Twitter, who is normally okay, seems convinced it was Flemming on that Chopper.

An extremely poor do if this is final with no more additions, imo.

Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
Negligence might be an extreme description but I agree with the sentiment.
Foster and Rodriguez have got form for missing large periods through fitness issues and Hountondji doesn’t look ready to be leading the line in a team at the top end of the championship.

Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
Get Flemming over the line and it will be a strong window.
Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
Not sure we need another striker if we've got the wingers to support. Obviously Hountondji hasn't looked great on the wing but he needs a chance down the middle.
Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
Burnley way usually has decent info. Flemming would be a good signing if true.

Trafford
Roberts Worrall Esteve Pires
Brownhill Cullen
Anthony Hannibal Koleosho
Hountondji
Looks a strong starting 11 for tomorrow if all are fit.

Murger is right, the strikers we currently have aren't good enough.
Foster has his problems, possibly wanted to leave, and has an extremely poor record. Jay is just too old to be doing it week in week out, as good as he once was. Hountondji is way off the standard at the moment, it's wishful thinking of the highest order to imagine he'll be the answer.

It's not Murger but I think he was anticipating another forward thinking signing, unlike yourself. Are you OK? Serious question as you never post anything positive as far as can see, ever? BTW the three we have will be more than adequate if that's it. COYC!

Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
I feel like that’s it — no more incomings.
In review, I think it’s a much weaker squad than last year (obviously), and possibly weaker than our previous campaign in the Championship.
However, we do have a decent squad and one that is capable of winning it, but more is required of the manager. I increasingly feel that Kompany bought the league; Parker will have to do it the hard (er) way.
UTC.
