4 of us (Accy Clarets) in Teruel, Spain, visiting the 30+ people who visited Burnley last season for the Palace game. Today they're wearing their Burnley shirts and tomorrow we're going to watch Teruel away.

Nipped out with my daughter to Sainsbury’s and now being forced to watch her do tricks on the trampoline (she’s 6). My lad is out selling sweet cones for his cubs charity challenge.

Re: What Are You Doing Today?
Had a bit of a leg-stretch this am- just a meandering 1.5 miler to the local convenience store.
Normally would've gone down to see Eastleigh v Tamworth in the National League this aft but I'm off to a gig this evening out-of-town and wouldnt make it back in time so it'll be TV sport (racing from Ascot, cricket, and the start of the England game) before getting myself off to the rail station for a quick ride to Winchester,
Going to see Peter Bruntnell band https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=525a5Gj ... rBruntnell my second gig this week. (lots of music choices around here now that summer festivals have finished).

Up early this AM for a walk. Trying to get some feeling back in my legs after doing Slieve Donard on Monday.
Ireland v England, on the box, at tea time.
My niece and hubby have a debut gig tonight in Cobh. 90s stuff as Bill Clinton & the Interns.
They never let you down.
All in all a grand day.

Being given the run around by this fella, he’s a guide dog puppy in training. He’s here for ten days to give his foster parents a break. He’s a nine month old bundle of energy.

Took the nephew to Clitheroe this morning for his first match of the season, then went to club shop and treated my self to a new hoodie, after finding a gift card in the back of my wallet I’d forgotten had.
Now putting my team together for our first game of the season tomorrow morning

Thanks for your concern Rowls and CT.
Central serous retinopathy apparently. Widely believed to be brought on apparently
by stress or the use of steroids. Slight visual impairment which tends to correct itself.
Came in useful for last season's offering !!!

Sutton United 0 pilgrims 1.
About right. Sutton playing out from the back kompany style and have come close to conceding from it unnecessarily more than once.

Garforth lost 1-0 to Wythenshaw after a soft header was misjudged by the keeper. Terrible game

Re: What Are You Doing Today?
Watched some "earthy football" today. My local side Market Harborough (two successive promotions ) now in Southern League Premier Division Central, 5 minute walk from home and £6 as a concession. Numerous bone crunching tackles, full on aerial battles and a red card. Harborough lost to Redditch 3-1 and I stood next to the Harborough chairman who I know. Seems a million miles away from watching us in the Championship, but its the beauty of football in front of a 400 crowd

Went to Westminster to capture images of the bakery where Mrs Croydon's mother used to work in the 60's. This was where she met Mrs Croydon's dad who was working at New Scotland Yard nearby
She has dementia so triggers from the distant past are very useful in unlocking aspects of her former self
The bakery has changed a bit but the memories were still there
