Burnley football shirts sizes!

Post by mkmel » Sun Sep 08, 2024 10:29 am

I am flying back to England from the Philippines for 2/3 months and arriving this coming Friday 13th September.

I live in Milton Keynes and chances are that I won't be able to travel up to Burnley and try on the Burnley home shirt that I want to buy.

I have no idea what my chest size is and I think my waist is 34 atm. No big tummy and I think I normally have had a large/L size Burnley shirt in the past.

What size shirt do you think I should be ordering online?

Thanks

Mel. Going on what you’ve said I would imagine you’re a 40/42 chest so you should be okay in a Large.

Hey Mel, long time no speak. If it's easier (and cheaper), I'm headed there at the end of October for the QPR game. I know it's a fair while away, but I'd be happy to grab a shirt for you and bring it back.
To that end, if you order one online and it doesn't quite fit you, I could either try it, buy it, or return it for you to save on return postage.

I'm a 34 waist but was recommended a M shirt.I normally wear L and tried both on in the shop and for a close-fitting design opted for M.It looks and feels spot on for me.

Can you go to a sports direct and try on a castore shirt from a different club? Or is the sizing not consistent?

We actually have a Castore store in MK at the shopping centre, but all he'd have to try is an MK shirt...
Annoyingly, Castore still haven't updated their website with our stuff, so you can't order anything to store, which would have been handy.

I’m 34 waist but I’m not sure I’d risk a medium if I was buying one.

I certainly would not buy a medium. The sizing is similar to umbro in my opion . So if you a traditonal meduim size order a Large.

I'd 100% edge on the side of going a size up rather than your original sizing and definitely wouldn't recommend a smaller size.
I'd say your more than likely to be a large.
