Clarets+

Post by RammyClaret61 » Sun Sep 15, 2024 1:29 am

Lots of complaints here in Melbourne and Sydney. People paid £10, the link didn’t appear till nearly 15 minutes after kick off. Then it kept stopping, buffering, then changing to the Leeds version, freezing, changing…. Repeat

Was it the same in the U.K?

I tried to watch whilst on my holidays in Greece. It was late in providing the link and when it did, it told me it was only available in certain countries despite Greece being ok. Now sent a request for my money back.

I don’t know if “officially” it was the same here, but the stream I started watching was with Phil Bird on comms and then it soon switched not long into the game to Leeds comms

I watched the first half on a terrible stream - in fact I missed the goal. Reluctantly I paid the tenner for the second half and had an impeccable stream.

Afraid I've deliberately subscribed to Now.
Would prefer to use Burnleys Own media but, it's utterly unreliable.
Until I hear more positive stuff about it I'll never chuck money at it again.

What is Now please? Is it only available in the UK?

It’s not too bad for 15 or so games if you can get it for £20 per month. Works out cheaper than the official stream which doesn’t seem to work for many people and especially those trying to access via a vpn.

I wonder how long off whole season stream passes are. They are definitely needed.

As an overseas Claret, I agree - It's rubbish. OP is correct we had to wait around 13 mins for it be available. Disgraceful to let us dangle like that with the match in progress. Complete fiasco

I've written mails to the club twice previously about this service and got no reply

Not only that... other championship clubs have a season pass option for £140 ... so at £10 a game for 46 games... we fans that will watch all the games (apart from travelling in for them) are getting fleeced

I said to myself I wouldn't plump up the cash for a one off game after Luton but did it for the Leeds game as I had family and friends round and had faith in the media team to get it right. Ended up frustrated and panicked towards kick off, really angry as kick off commenced and relieved when the stream went live after ten minutes or so. Even then, the stream quality wasn't that great, there seemed to be a permanent fine blur to the footage, still HD but with a weird doubling to the image that was almost imperceptible but noticeable.
It will definitely be the last time I buy a video matchday pass from Burnley
I'd like to know why we aren't offering a fair priced season pass for international supporters, though. Us and Leeds are the only clubs in the division not offering this season pass deal.
Dodgy streams it is then.

Not covered here in Japan, but given the general shakiness of the website, I doubt if I'd pay 10p upfront.

Masochist. Mind you, Sky based their commentary on the DL muppets.

The biggest shock would have been writing to the club and actually receiving a reply.

I know someone who watched it in Europe, said it was excellent on Saturday

It’s an absolute disgrace of a service matched only by the arrogance of those in the club responsible and who delicious not to respond to customers complaints!

The club should be ashamed!

Do they still offer the Package
Clarets+ LIVE AUDIO Season Pass - UK?

I did the annual one last time we were in the championship, but this option doesn't appear anymore

Apologies if this has been discussed previously, but I've not been on the club website for a while due to it being terrible.

Row x ... It would be better if you could leave threads like this alone. Can't you see how important this is for Clarets that live abroad but grew up supporting the club ?

My choice to live abroad yeah... but I'm still envious of lads (and lasses) that can go on every game... so tell me this... what if the bloke on the gate said "yeah, you bought a ticket... but you can't come in and watch until 13 mins after the game has started"

I was having a light hearted response to his post. If you read it again you might spot that bit instead of jumping in and having a go at a poster that hasn't said anything about the points you raised
