I see Sky have gone big tonight for the televised game. It's Fleetwood v Morecambe.

Stkll strange seeing these two clubs playing a 'League' derby.
Seen them play up at my local club lots of times in the NPL.

Looks more like a Links Golf course than a footy pitch at the moment

Pretty dramatic photos. They'll be back to Selhurst Park soon.

Looks perfectly playable. The game’s gone soft.

Does this 'derby' not have a name?
The 'worse weekend than Blackpool' derby? The 'I'd rather be in Lytham' derby? The 'Thank **** we aren't in Carlisle' derby?

Re: Tonight's football
The Wimbledon v Newcastle game mentioned above has now been switched to next week at St James' Park.
Re: Tonight's football
I watched it on CBS Sports, the commentator referred to it as the Fylde Coast derby a couple of times early on.distortiondave wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2024 8:45 pmDoes this 'derby' not have a name?

Someone must have put him right as later he kept referring to it as a Lancashire derby.

I wonder how long it took him to decide that was a good idea
