I really don't understand why,, after it being realised last week that some tickets hadn't been received from Oxford, we just didn't send someone down there by car to collect them???

Probably because you'd need to be able to spare a member of staff for a day to be able to do that & im guessing they dont have the staff to do that. On the other side it could be argued that Oxford should be driving them up to us if its their error?

You’d have thought Oxford could have got the tickets to us by same day courier, first thing next morning at the latest

It is very odd that Oxford didn’t send the tickets up as soon as it was noticed about the error. It is also very odd the club were saying that Wolves and Leeds both forgot to send all their tickets as well.

Just been in and was told not all the tickets have come around half, apparently row Q is missing and that's the row I was on

Was told they have spare tickets so I can have those, she comes back about 2 minutes later and the tickets she give me weren't together and said sorry it's all they've got, So after I kicked off a little she looked again and unbelievably she found two sat together so I've probably got someone else's ticket's.

So I'd say around 60 ticket's won't be posted or available to pick up, what a joke by both clubs.

Good grief. I am in Row AA but am not holding my breath! If I had told my young self in the 80s that just getting to matches in the third decade of the twenty first century would be such a faff I would never have believed it

She’s just said the ones that were requested to be posted have been took up for postage & they’ve a box with others for collection in at the TO. If anyone hasn’t received by Friday lunch, to ring up and they’ll be added to the reprint list down in Oxford.

It’s Oxfords fault. I emailed them yesterday to see what the crack was on their side and they said the information given by our TO was correct (that Oxford misprinted the quantity).

Mine came today as promised by club yesterday. Appreciate there are issues but to be fair, I've called 3 times and it's been answered each time (2-4 in the queue) and they said they arrived late from Oxford and would arrive with me today. So fair play.

Just had to drive over to pick mine up. Selected post but they had put in collection box. At least they answered the phone today. Slight inconvenience as it may have been a hassle to collect once down there. Another shambles at the ticket office. One of many over the years. They blamed the new system. Surely any reputable business would test these systems before rolling out?

Burnley fans travelling to the Kassam Stadium for Saturday’s clash against Oxford United are being warned about travel disruption after the game.

The northbound carriageway of the A34 near Oxford will be closed this weekend for continuing resurfacing work to be carried out.

It’s a route Burnley fans would typically use to get back to the M40 to travel back North. Clarets fans will be able to travel southbound prior to the game, but afterwards motorists will need to take a diversion.

The road will be closed from the Hinksey Hill junction to the A44 Peartree interchange from 9pm on Friday (September 27) until 6am on

National Highways said in a statement: “We know that
“Home league attendances are expected to be 11,000+ and this is likely to exacerbate traffic in the area.
National Highways also confirmed a signed diversion route will be in operation via the Oxford Ring Road.

A sold out away end is expected at the Kassam Stadium for Burnley’s first clash against Oxford since 2000. It’s also the first time .

Just got home to find yet again I haven't received my ticket, having been previously assured on two occasions it was on its way to me!! I have just phoned was told that mine (like others it seems) was placed in the for collection box by mistake and I can pick it up tomorrow, but it has to be before 4pm or it'll be returned to Oxford!!! I've never had anything like this before. It's ridiculous tbh. I've a hotel booked and originally I could even have been travelling Friday which would have been even worse.

there was somebody on the floor arranging 3000 tickets for Sheff Wed away when I went in and seemed exasperated so what could go wrong? I asked if I could have mine to avoid the issues but it couldn't be done. So expect tickets posted out soon and, if not, start worrying.

I rang on Tuesday to chase mine up to be told they had also been placed in the ‘for collection pile’….. luckily i have someone who can pick them up tomorrow or we would have been left flapping and rushing on match day. Could have been worse u supose if they had continued to not answer the phone or ring back (as requested) or even respond to either of the emails i sent last week.

Our tickets were picked up today, nowhere near where i had selected them on order (first day) and i hadn’t received an email saying we had been moved. Also now not together.

I know it’s not an issue now, but delivered in yesterdays post to my home were the original 4 tickets i had ordered. We had already set off before the post came. What on earth is going on, tickets in the wrong pile, extra tickets being sent out, tickets being sent out late, poor interactions with supporters (phone line issues, no email reply). Its a shambles.
