We were warned about ‘Parkerball’ by Fulham and Bournemouth fans. Here it is. Even less fun than watching Southgate’s England.

5 blocked, which is what happens when they have 11 men in the box.

They are undefeated at home and set their stall out to get a point (like we did many of a game in the PL years). Can't take anything away from them

Said it last week too. We absolutely have to be braver against the vast majority of teams that just want to defend. That said we missed two absolute sitters. Frustrating result against a poor team

Far better team but you get games like that. Certainly didn't play badly, score 1-2 and everyone would have been delighted with how we controlled the game.

Promoted sides away are always tricky. Full of fire and confidence however limited they are,

On a day when the top two both lose it is no disaster.

How long can we afford to stay in the championship?

The side may not be ready, but the finances likely tell a different story.

We’re not creating enough, despite plenty of possession. Lots to work on but early days and we’ve not really been able to field a settled side, as yet.

Better performance in the second half, good point won, we were much better than them, two bad misses let us down.

We didn't go at them in the final third. Well maybe once but that's not enough.

They actually looked the most dangerous team today from their 70-80 min period when they were coming at us.

Great point away from home. Dominated the game against a team who sat back all game after winning first 3 home games. We had chances to win it. What’s wrong with people

Could've done with Flemming today, still maintain we are one player light up top. Frustrating but that's football. Oxford had won all 3 home games before today.

Side note, I'm reading this thread whilst on holiday, so this has kind of been my match update. The attitude of some of our posters has annoyed me more than the result. Let's have a bit of a reality check and not act like self entitled fannies eh? It's a bit embarrassing

Why should we? Oxford are celebrating this like a victory. Their plan was to defend, pack the box and make us try to get them out of position.

If we can’t beat that lot, even with the side we had out, we’ve no chance of going up. Not enough goals in the side for me. Foster was awful, Jay past it, and as for Houtondji I despair.

Oxford have won all 3 home games in the league and were fortunate to get away with a draw after 3 really poor misses from Burnley players ( Foster, Sarmiento, Houtondji).

It wasn't the best performance and was far too laboured for too long , however we still had decent patterns of play at times especially down the wings.

Undoubtedly though there's much room for improvement!

What’s your tactic against a team with 11 men in their defensive third, lump it into the box?
