I would assume to both see if they think he’s any good at it and or if it’s something he wants to do long term.

Faz has been up here for 37 years now but still sounds like he did when he first arrived.longsidetrumpet wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2024 11:41 amThey’ll think they’ve joined some club dahn Saath with Faz and Corky yakking at them

The only delay seems to be announcing it, he's been doing the job virtually all season.

How many coaches do you want? There was always a vacancy here once Charlie Adam went at the start of the year.Poulton-le-Claret wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2024 10:54 amJust need to get Barnes back as a coach now, once he finishes playing![]()

It's so obvious that he's been here all season doing the job - and that's two Corks in the academy, I believe his son is a young player too.

I didn't know about his son, that must be a cool thing for Jack. I still find it amazing Jack couldn't get a playing deal somewhere (unless he had offers and didn't fancy them of course)ClaretTony wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2024 4:13 pmIt's so obvious that he's been here all season doing the job - and that's two Corks in the academy, I believe his son is a young player too.

It was one of the security staff who told us last season. Matt Lowton's lad was also in the academy.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Thu Oct 03, 2024 4:20 pmI didn't know about his son, that must be a cool thing for Jack.
