I hate DL but for us, a draw is best.

People moan about VAR but you would be begging for it if that Leeds goal was against you

Very tight, possibly level.
Re: Tonight's Football
Looked offside (PL def) but textbook header. Keeper had no chance.
Re: Tonight's Football
You take those as a fan, part of the game. VAR is shite

Re: Tonight's Football
Sunderland have some good players but look a little light on experience
Leeds are just hot and miss as usual, a good spell, then a poor spell.
I can't see either getting automatic.
Gaining 2 pts on both, fingers crossed, is better than either of them winning.

Sooner have an honest mistake than the VAR we currently have.

They just have to ban someone retrospectively for it and it would stop within two weeks

I would certainly had not and will never beg for VAR. I’d rather that was given against us.The Shire Claret wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2024 8:24 pmPeople moan about VAR but you would be begging for it if that Leeds goal was against you

that's one of the dumbest yellow's I've ever seen
Re: Tonight's Football
Funny old game. How many managers turned Sunderland down before they went for this chap. Feels a bit like one of those meant to be situations

Leeds 2-1
Not impressed with Sunlan at all, defenders stood around like dummies.

Re: Tonight's Football
Would much have preferred a Mackems win as they won’t beat 80 pts. But on the flip side we only need to finish top two not top one so it may help if everyone else drops points to us and Leeds.
These nice sides like Sunderland come apart when facing better standard players like us and Leeds have (and probably Sheff Utd). I don't count the lucky timing of when they played us, obvs.

Re: Tonight's Football
Sunderland look as average as they did against us.
They’ve had a pretty kind set of opening fixtures really. Their next set of games up to the end of November looks a lot tougher.

I wouldn't want Frapo anywhere near my club again if he did that at the final whistle for us. Regardless of how disappointed he may have been

Re: Tonight's Football
still no idea what happened, did the ball just die on the bounce or did he just misjudge it ?
Re: Tonight's Football
Mesliers handling has been really good tonight but you can't take your eye off the ball like he did for that goal
