Condolences to the Bruce family

Post by Tricky Trevor » Sat Oct 19, 2024 8:52 am

Steve Bruce will miss Lashers game today and his son Alex will miss the Salford match on the death of their 4 month old grandson and nephew, respectively. There can’t be much worse in the world than losing a child so young.
Deepest condolences to them all.

Absolutely. Football fades into insignificance when something like this happens. Must be heartbreaking for the entire family.

Absolutely, sympathies are with them as well as Liam Manning, the Bristol City manager, who won't be at his team's game today following the death of his baby son Theo. Football really does not matter at times like this.

Of course not. Death has no respect for age.

My thoughts are very much with their family. Our Son and his wife gave us our first grandchild in 2019, at 11 month old and for reasons unknown to the medical specialist's we lost him, a healthy little boy. Four years have gone by and I still have trouble accepting it. I have a picture on my sideboard of him sat in his Burnley kit that my son sent me as a surprise.
