Post by Aclaret » Mon Oct 21, 2024 9:30 pm

Salt & Pepper could be batting together for England in the ODIs in West Indies.....Michael Pepper called up after Buttler withdraws from squad........I guess they could Condiment each other nicely!

Reminded me of the Canadian hockey team (Ottawa Senators) in the 90's that had the players Daryll Cheese, Jacob Onion and Noah Crisp all in the same squad

The cameraman must have been waiting with his finger poised for this. One of them being a keeper helped.

In the late 1970s Exeter's full backs were Hore & Hooker - and that's genuine unlike the ice hockey bullsh1t posted above!

During the late 1970's, Celtic had Alfie Conn and the late John Doyle in their starting line-up ... I remember several wags calling for them to sign Gordon Arthur, the Stirling Albion goalkeeper so they could list " Arthur, Conn and Doyle " on the teamsheet ..
