As you were both 'no-shows' on Saturday, we now won't be taking any further bookings from you.

Re: FAO Sawleych0ps and Muzamil.shah
The reason I couldn't go on Saturday was because the coaches were full.
Therefore, people who do this deserve nothing but contempt.

If you pay the £38 for the seats and we insist on upfront payment online for future bookings, then we'll remove the ban.Muzamil.shah wrote: ↑Sun Oct 20, 2024 9:46 pmI dont suppose a sincere apology will fix things??

I've also been contacted by the other person, who has apologised and explained the situation. Which was that she made the booking for a friend. She is arranging payment for the seats and I've removed her ban
This is just a heads up for people who book on for others that if you make a booking then you're responsible, so you need to ensure that they honour the booking.

Good news Leisure, let’s hope Muzamil.shah does the right thing and arranges the same.Leisure wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 9:00 amI've also been contacted by the other person, who has apologised and explained the situation. You provide a fantastic service to fellow clarets and to be honest I’m not sure I could have your patience to keep doing it if other clarets let me down. It’d drive me mad.
Honest mistakes can happen though and if corrected that’s understandable.

Agree 100% with this comment NewClaret. Keeping track of the bookings for the different pick up points, then the numerous changes due to cancellations would do my head in.
HATS OFF to you Leisure you are doing an EXCELLENT job !!

The reason is irrelevant? It’s a non profit organisation that needs to sell seats to make it worth their while (for the benefit of everyone). As well as turning people away needlessly, it’s not even a debate.
They also know where all the best spoons are (and some sh1t ones too) so there.

Come on let's be serious. When have facts ever been established before condemning. The concept is almost as ludicrous as accepting random booking requests from complete strangers.pushpinpussy wrote: ↑Mon Oct 21, 2024 3:58 pmBefore calling them out maybe just check their wasn’t a death or an emergency on the day and therefore they might have had more important things on their minds .

I think this is a reasonable way at to start a topic. I’m assuming that it is justified because they used this site to make the bookings otherwise there would be no reason to use this site to censure them

If you interpret it as crying I interpret it as 2 people who inadvertently let leisure down unfortunately & have come good it should be the end of the matter. We don't have a clue about the circumstances that led to that.

Ok , you’ve never come across the ‘I forgot’ , ‘ you should have said’ , I was going to do that’ brigade.Jakubclaret wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2024 9:24 pmIf you interpret it as crying I interpret it as 2 people who inadvertently let leisure down unfortunately & have come good it should be the end of the matter. It was a convenient excuse , there was no ‘circumstances’.
