Totally counter productive when the players gave everything to try and win the game.

The boring football and poor result… bit of a long shot but I think along those lines would be why.

I don’t boo at football games but I’ll have whinge on here at the end of the game. I think of it as a virtual pub to vent your frustrations.

**** off and support Man City if you need to boo a team that was ripped apart 2 games into the season and our manager still manages to put together a team that are currently sitting 2nd in the league

I booed. Is that privilege not open to us anymore? Not a good watch. Frustrating and regularly boring. Hardly going to stand around at the end and applaud. So I booed and very quickly made my way to the car. Stayed back plenty of times to applaud good performances but today was on the whole abysmal.

I think the bnoing was aimed at QPR and their timewasting which the ref fell for again. 6 minutes FFS .

I’m staggered anyone could say that second half was anything other than an absolute bore fest. The opposition were dire - they haven’t kept a clean sheet all season! We didn’t have a clue
Not saying the boos are acceptable - but to ask for an explaination is almost as stupid as the booing itself

Re: Booing
I didn't boo, it's not my thing but can we set a time limit on when we stop mentioning the rebuild to excuse toothless performances?
We have also got a gigantic budget in comparison to most of the other sides to counteract this.
Things aren't terrible, some people go well over the top with criticism but some elements of our play have shown absolutely no signs of improvement.

I boo'd because they only had black coffee left at half time
Re: Booing
Had a row at end with 2 young lads near me. Booing and saying Steve Parker out loud!!! Had to point out it’s Scott and what total d heads they were. Sums some of our support up !
Re: Booing
I booed today because it was as bad as anything I've witnessed in nearly 40 years. I don't boo often, not since the Cotterill days actually, but that was absolutely unforgivable today. Nil nil versus the worst team in the league, and their keeper didn't have a proper save to make. Forget possession stats, they don't matter. What matters is putting the ball in the net and we wouldn't have done that had we played until Christmas.
Boring, slow, and predictable. No urgency, no desire to win the game, no quality in the final third. Just turgid, horrific football... worst than Dyche-ball, worse than the garbage Cotterill served up. The reason I booed is because it is all of those things by design. This is what Parker-ball is. I will get behind any Burnley team that has a purpose. We had no purpose today. A clueless bunch of players trying to execute a non-existent game plan that involves doing everything at half pace.
Parker has said himself that today is as good as we've been this season. Seriously? What planet is he on. If today was peak Parker-ball he can pack his bags and leave tonight for me.

So many games I could quote that were worse than today, even some in the last promotion season, and several last season, I get people need attention on here, but find a better argument to do it

High tempo? You’re joking. We were as pedestrian as we’ve been all season. No urgency to attack at all. How many meaningful attempts did we actually have on goal?

Very funny to ask a question and then tell the people who answer off for seeking attention, to be fair.

Meaningful attempts have absolutely zilch to do with tempo.
We pressed well, we attacked at pace. We played some great one touch moves at certain points.

Re: Booing
Harry Kane wouldn't score in this team. It was a woeful performance in every area. The only player who played the ball with purpose was Egan-Riley. Everyone else moved the ball in such a pedestrian fashion it was like watching a training match.
It was so slow and predictable from first to last minute. So much so that I failed to get off my seat once in 90 minutes. We had all the ball against a team who had no intention of engaging until we got into the final third and still made about 300 passes between the back 4. We didn't move the ball anywhere near quickly enough to catch them out of position. Utter garbage.
Re: Booing
Being negative at a football match seems to be the fashionable thing. I thought we were good first half and created a number of good chances through inventive and creative passages of play. Only last ditch defending stopped us taking a deserved lead into half time.
Second half we didn’t get going but it didn’t warrant the boos. ‘Spoiled’’ was the word I used to my mate upon hearing them.

Re: Booing
We played at a much higher tempo today. We completed 700 passes which I can’t ever remember us doing under Kompany (although we may well have), that goes to prove we were moving the ball quickly - and almost all of it was in the opposition’s half.

Re: Booing
The point is this is by design. This is intentional. Parker wants us to play this turgid football. I can handle us being crap, I can handle us not being good enough. Today was something altogether different. We were off the charts with regards to how bad we were. 700 passes... and I can name one decent through ball (Laurent to Anthony). Everything else was just diabolical.

Did you watch the game?
That was probably the least pedestrian we've been since Cardiff, there was very little playing around at the back, and got it forward pretty quick. Attempts on goal I agree with, but the rest is wrong.
