Loads of contenders for me, with the Bills, Vikings, Packers, Ravens and even the Commanders in contention, if Daniels can keep it going.
I was looking at the tables earlier and like you say, fully up for grabs in the NFC. If Daniels can lead the Commanders to the Superbowl, it would surely be the story of the season. Future looks really bright for the franchise either way.
Pretty much hoping anyone but the Chiefs win it, just for some variety.

I have a lot on this week, so I might not get chance to submit my pick later on like I usually do.
So I'll select the
Commanders now, but I may have a rethink later in the week if I get chance

Could you explain why I can't pick Commanders, please, Poulton? they are my team and I thought i'd been avoiding them altogether.

49ers, Bills, Seahawks, Packers, Bengals (+ Ravens next GW only)
This is what I saw next to your name? Should be fine!
EDIT: I looked at wrong week. Only reason you can't pick Commanders is because you can't pick same side to lose twice in a row. So whoever Commanders are playing this week are the team you bet on to lose last week.
It's only a 1 week thing, next week you'll be free to pick them

Yeah as WillsClaret said above

you can't pick the same team to lose twice in a row.
Since you had the Steelers to beat the Giants in the last gameweek, you can't then pick the Giants to lose again this week - who are playing the Commanders.
In hindsight it's a rule that has made more work for me when working out our available picks each week

but I do enjoy the additional aspect of trying to think a gameweek ahead. Hopefully that all makes sense

For the overall winner it's hard to look past the Chiefs althought the Lions are looking good and Bills will be looking to finally make it

Wondered if there were any baseball fans on here?
Loved last nights World Series decider. As a Red Sox fan it’s always good to see Yankees lose but the melt down was incredible. 3-0 down in a 7 game series they went 5-0 up after 4 innings only to concede 5 runs in the fifth after having an easy, innings ending, out at first base before Dodgers had scored.
Dodgers 7-6 at the end and deserving champions.

It was indeed, in by a shin. I’ll bet Corley slept better after the W. He wouldn’t have if they’d lost after dropping the ball as he walked it in for his first TD.

GW 9 results.
Hi all, a busy week in the Poulton-le-claret household. Me and my wife welcomed the birth of our first child (both doing very well). As such, I have watched zero minutes of NFL action this GW. It looks like an eventful one though, Saints head coach fired, my Bucs pushed the Chiefs all the way and the Jets beating the Texans was a big result.
Everyone's picks won as well
Let me know if I missed anything particularly good, already seen some comments to direct my attention to certain highlights

Commanders robbed. Play clock on zero, ball hasn’t moved. Wilson throws a TD to Freiermuth that stands.

They sort of sucked last week at the cardinals too.
Their schedule is very front loaded with poor teams. They beat the rams, but that was without kupp or nakua.

I knew it after last week's abysmal performance at the Cardinals and they've got nothing to play for in their division. Only halfway through the season but they played like it was the last game of the season. ****** me right off has that!

Yeah, I was pretty much banking on their home form this season, seems that has gone down the pan!
The positive news for all of us who picked the Bears is that we don't have to pick them again

GW 10 Results
Hi all, well a tough week for 5 of us! The Bears well and truly dropped the ball with one of the worst showings of any team this season, only scoring 3 points against the Pats says it all! Congratulations to the wiser among us who swerved them off
Elsewhere, it is getting pretty much impossible to look past the Chiefs for the Superbowl this season. Another dramatic end to the game going their way.
Game of the week for me though has to be Lions @ Texans. Well worth catching that game on the replay or highlights if you have not already done so. I think Vegas already mentioned it above in the thread.

GW 10 Results
Elsewhere, it is getting pretty much impossible to look past the Chiefs for the Superbowl this season. Another dramatic end to the game going their way.
Game of the week for me though has to be Lions @ Texans. Well worth catching that game on the replay or highlights if you have not already done so. I think Vegas already mentioned it above in the thread.
I don’t have the Chiefs as certs just yet although 9-0 is compelling.
Only won their last 2 via Buccs turning down a winning 2 pt opportunity and Broncos having a blocked FG to win it. They do know how to get over the line though.
Lions @ Texans was engrossing. 7 interceptions and a comeback from nowhere. Enjoyed that.

Yeah that is a fair point. The Chiefs will be pretty comfortable leading pack, as they have been there and done it, but hopefully it suits teams like the Lions and Bills to be hunting them down. Anyone but the Chiefs to win it would be nice for me.
Chiefs @ Bills will be really interesting this week.
