Really really poor that. Parker has to change something with his style because this is not only turgid to watch, but we are not getting the points we should be from these recent games.

I was worried the play off lottery beckoned and we might have to suffer the pain next May of that.

Anyway, no need now to have any such concerns. Mediocrity beckons.

All over. Very poor from Burnley. Not a team with drive, guts and striking capacity.

Can't remember if the cotterill era was as poor as this but it must be close,
The winless 19 game run was truly dreadful, but to be fair to Cotterill he was working with two hands tied behind his back.

This football is worse than what Laws was serving up. And he got absolute dogs abuse.

One shot on goal against Millwall. 0.17xG.

Also just saw these stats posted:

Some fun facts for Parkerball, over the past 5 games we are currently:

- The lowest XG in the ENTIRE EFL

- The lowest big chances made in the ENTIRE EFL

- Joint lowest goalscorers ENTIRE EFL

Current form has us finishing 15th, goals scored + chances made has us finishing 16th

Absolutely horrendous stuff from Scott Parker.

2nd highest wage bill and that's what he produces with it. Can't even manage 1 shot on target.

Men against boys. We may have better players on paper but completely out passioned again. When is it going to dawn on us that we need to stand up and be counted and create opportunities, not just pass to win football matches.

Our front 3, Whichever 3 it happens to be, are sub-standard. Nothing will change until January and then it is pot luck if they improve us.
That was a hard watch but it’s become expected.

Poor today.. passing truly shocking unless its going backwards or sideways..
Anthony was a passenger as were many others today.. tactically got it wrong…. Our shots on goal are very depressing.. as the commentator just said Jensen has had a very comfortable and easy game…

I think opposition managers know how to set up against us and we dont have an answer..

Playoffs at best this year, as we wont be able to change anything to jan.. but even if we have a 20 goal a season striker they wont be getting any service based on evidence so far this year..

I just can't believe how genuinely bad at football we are under Scott Parker.

Poor performances are often over-egged, but we actually struggle to pass the ball to one another, and we certainly can't put numerous passes together to create something.

We look absolutely f#cking hopeless trying to build attacks, but not only that we can't pass creatively, our pass completion rate is down pure and simply to the sideways passes in our own half, anything in the final 3rd and our pass completion rate will be way below 50%. That's the issue and that's why we create absolutely f#ck all of note

Not a cat in hell's chance of the players offs, playing like this. Promoted teams know they are going to overpower their opponents and rain in shots and headers. They are relentless.

Recognise that in us at the moment?

No rotations in the final 3rd
6 behind the ball at all times hardly surprising

Full backs one inverts the other is a wide CB really

Midfield lacks technical ability centrally to play on the half and play with purpose or tempo

We need full backs who can go on the outside or offer rotations
And we need a number 10 who can play on tight spaces and play with tempo…

No plan B we just expect our wide players to win 1v1 and if they don’t we don’t create nothing.

Not negative just how it is predictable and when you can play through as we could not today you ain’t playing over with there defensive giant.

embarrassingly depressive watch, I don`t remember feeling this fed up on Cotterills 19 game winless run, no passion, no commitment. no urgency, woeful tactics, I don`t care if we are better off points wise than in the Kompany season, his team was getting better this bunch are just tripe winging it and we will be lucky if we finish top half.

The most frustrating element for me is that we had a real team come in May 2022 (I appreciate that a significant % were loans) - then, after the continuity of bad decisions, we've spent a heck of a lot of cash and have far worse players in many of the positions - namely out wide and at fullback.

Absolutely horrific

I said last week that we have one wide man who refuses to take his man on and another who just runs into people. This isn't bad luck, it's a constant and this makes them easy to defend against. This won't change if we keep doing the same things over and over.

The quality of balls into the box is embarrassing, again we aren't unfortunate that they don't find our men, it's just a severe lack of a quality final ball.

What was different today was the inability of our midfield three to get hold of the ball and play simple five yard passes but we still had the ball in dangerous positions and created the square root of **** all with it.

All the money we spent and received and all the players we brought in and we are left with sending on JayRod to try and salvage the game for us.

A more enjoyable game than last week won by the better team with a good goal.
Starting to slip down the league now due to lack of goals and nothing to suggest that this will change.
Difficult to support or care about this Burnley team.

It's getting worse. What an absymal watch that was.

I'd love to know what Parkers tactics are, it looks like he is hoping we can just be so utterly boring, that the opposition will switch off and let us score.

Wouldn't bat an eyelid if he got binned tomorrow, but ultimately this shambles lies at Pace's feet.

Cowardly, gutless and inept.

Teams don't have to wonder about how to deal with us, we nullify ourselves with our refusal to countenance anything that might lose possession.

And this is on the manager and what passes for his 'tactics'. Just what is the plan? What is the expectation of where goals will come from in a team that barely plays a forward pass and hardly crosses or shoots?

Too many Josh's in the starting 11 too.
Laurent was not great today but certainly the best of the 3 and he got hooked again.
Parker got a poor hand in the aftermath of the transfer window,
But he insists on removing extra digits

I hope today is the wake up call which we need ala Sheff United in Kompany's season.
There's a lot of talent in this squad but we have to start playing to win, not to dominate the ball in order to restrict chances for the opposition.

Awful, we not going to another away match (with the exception of Blackburn) until something changes.

A lot of money as we go as a family, no entertainment, no fun, football is suppose to be about enjoyment. It's just so so boring to watch.

I like Scott Parker as a person, but I’m not sure this is working out.

The drop off in quality compared to the last two seasons has been phenomenal.

At best, we couldn’t score against Millwall. At worst, it’s predictive of the end of our Premiership run for a generation or more. Feels quite sad.

Got what we deserved today - no creativity, no passion and no end product. Sadly I think it’s gave over for Jay Rod, Esteve and Humphrey looked like rabbits in headlights when trying to control the ball, Kolesho and Anthony don’t know how to tackle without fouling, Roberts has a dark side which will get him in trouble. I want to see Burnley on the front foot not tippy tapping around at the back. Thought the ref was pathetic especially the longer the gave went on abd fell for Millwall’s tricks time after time. Parker may have inherited a bad hand with all the transfers out but this is no longer a “new” team and he needs to start earning his wage.

Something that confuses me is the way we always seem to want to take free kicks quickly and go short for us to then just pass it about across the back which negates the need to take a quick free kick. Sometimes it pays off, but not recently, and other times I feel we’d be better off thinking about it and loading up the forward line and whipping a cross in and take advantage of the second ball when it drops.

We’re just so predictable at the moment and we have zero ideas on how to unlock a defence either, which is worrying. Koleosho keeps making the same mistakes too, but it’s easy to highlight his errors when in reality all the team are consistently making simple errors too.

Millwall outfought us and we allowed it to happen by not fighting back.
Not acceptable.

Too many times the player receiving the ball, stood still, allowing Millwall to intercept.
No urgency is not acceptable.

Scott, you need to get inside their heads. Warriors required to win the physical side of the game, after that show your quality.
