Not so keen on one of Bet365's bet builders:

- Langstaff over 0.5 shots on target
- Brownhill over 0.5 shots on target
- Flemming over 0.5 shots on target

9/1

I'll take that bet as long as you void the Flemming part when he doesn't start like Bet365 will.

Under 1.5 goals has to be a good bet for today.

Since the Oxford game which i felt would be very tight, i have been doing £5 win 1-0 home £5 1-0 away and £5 the 0_0 odds differ game by game and its showing a nice little return, im planning on doing it today and for WBA, then we'll see after that. Its very much under 1.5 goals but the odds sometimes make it a better bet, but betting is all opinions and decisions anyway

0-0 is a naive bet. No goalscorer is the same price and own goals don't cost you a win.

Can’t say I didn’t tell you. At least I have the consolation of a nice winning bet. Fairly predictable result

Im with you on a straight 0-0 or no goalscorer should there be an own goal.
But would it make ant difference to betting say 1-0 home win, 1-0 away win & 0-0 even if it is an own goal, i might be wrong but i doubt you would be paid out on 2 winning bets a 1-0 victory and a 0-0 because of an own goal. i would be interested to hear what you think, what no pies ?

I don't follow. My point is that backing 0.0 is a fools errand because backing 'no goalscorer' at the same price means you'll win more often (ie. When a game finishes with another scoreline but goals are own goals).

Backing 1.0 correct score is a separate thing altogether and the means of goal/goalscorer for that bet is insignificant.

We are talking about 2 diferents bets, what no pies, i agree with what you say about the no goalscorer over a 0-0

My original post said i did 3 bets 1-0 home win 1-0 away win and the 0-0 today it showed a 4/1 profit
You could say triple your bet and back less than 1.5 goals, i doubt there would be much difference.

My point i was making is i doubt an own goal would make any difference to my original bet, and was interested to know what you thought.

Ever made a mistake when placing a bet on line? (Perhaps it's just me then ;) )

Backed Burnley to win today. Unfortunately, I hit the "LAY" button :o

Happy days

If you backed 0.0 - 1.0 - 0.1 today I'd expect odds of around 8/1 - 6/1 - 6/1 respectively.

Having won on the 1.0 home win you've won a 6/1 bet but had 3x stake so essentially you won at odds of equivalent of around 2/1.

If you had backed 'No goalscorer' / 1.0 / 0.1 and it was 1.0 with an own goal you'd win two of your bets (at 8/1 and at 4/1) so it would still be beneficial. If the result was 0.0 you'd still win the same amount as if you went with 3 scorelines.
