Sheff Utd with 0 shots on target tonight and 0.13 xG. Thought I’d read on here about how free flowing their attack was but must be imagining that.
Only scored twice. Should always wait till game finishes to quote stats.. 0 shots on target????

No idea what happened to Brizzle.

They were cruising, then their keeper gets a touch of the Kiralys and its 1-1.

Then their big lump of a centre half thinks hes's Beckenbauer and gets himself sent off.

Within a minute its 2-1.

Less than a third of the season gone but Sheff Utd are looking good atm.
I think Hamer and O Hare are excellent players for this division. If they both stay fit I think that they will gain automatic or be very close to it.

They were absolutely dreadful for most of that game and it was at 78 minutes when I posted. 2 set pieces & opponent red card have rescued them there.

Sheff United five points ahead of us and started on minus two
They’re running away with the league.

O’Hare not been taken to by their fans they all want him dropped from what I’ve seen. Awful tonight.

I must admit I haven't watched that much of him this year. I have only seen very brief snippets of Sheff Utd and they have looked pretty decent as a team.
I watched quite a bit of the Championship last season and O Hare was often the best player on the pitch. It's a little concerning that he is not playing well and they are still second in the table.

Still fourth, but five points off the automatics now.
Need something at West Brom.

That’s the difference, play poorly and win especially away from home wins you titles, play poorly and lose wins you nothing. They won’t be complaining one bit neither should they be.

No need to panic Sheffield United will still finish below us.

Boro now put four past the QPR side we couldn't muster one against....
Boro a side that could only draw at home to Portsmouth who we beat.

Boro a side that could only draw at home to North End like we did.

Daft isn't it to compare one game against another

I saw the Bristol City - Sheff Utd match on TV.

Two sides pretty equal most of the game except City were toothless whereas United looked like they could score, but only through Hamer. City's goal - the penalty - came from their best move. Then United brought on their presumably resting players and upped a gear. The first was from a needless corner where Dickie, who had done well up to that point, for some reason backed into his own goalkeeper. He then of course messed up and got a red card.

Souza was imperious. I liked the way that no player could actually get past him with the ball. He always seemed to anticipate the move and used his strength to get the ball himself. O'Hare offered little but Hamer, when he went on a run, looked almost unstoppable.

This was a good win for United. In our current form this game looks like a drab 0-0 on the 23rd.

I am not comparing the game. I am comparing the ability to break down a defence and score goals. QPR only have two clean sheets this season and one was against 10 men.

Does that put out performance into some perspective? 4 on the bounce and restricted the mighty Leeds to 75% possession, 14 shots but 0 clear cut chances?
