Nil nil against 12 men away from home, another point on the board.
A disallowed goal, hit the post and a few one on ones, keep this forward line together amd they'll gain confidence and goals will come

We’ve had a perfectly good goal disallowed. But as an attacking threat, we are dogshit.

Thought we were better tonight and should have won but for the most ridiculous refereeing decision I can remember (including all the VAR shite we have suffered).

Don’t like to drag an individual but I have to make comment on Koleosho there - moved to his favoured wing and made the wrong decision every single time. I really think he should be dropped. Give Agyei a start on the right hand side.

Much better tonight.
We played some decent stuff.
Goals will come, if we keep that up.
We were mugged by an atrocious decision from a poor ref.

Rinsed by the ref. More positive overall, fell flat and needed more aggressive subs.

Much better performance and the referee has decided the game there with just about the worst decision I've seen.

No chance this team and manager is a promotion winning one though.

Great win, enjoyed that. 4 horse race clearly, miles better than the rest.

Good winning goal from Anthony who played well.

Enjoying my parallel universe.

I'll keep saying it. He couldn't give a monkeys and is running down his contract.Going through the motions and does nothing (an odd goal is enough for some though).
He's got a long time to run it down if that's the case.

Framed in the context of our recent form it's a trifle disappointing but in isolation it's not a decent result.

We've looked a bit better going forwards, but unfortunately this time we've not been clinical with the good chances we've had and some of our passing has been sloppy.

As soon as Foster is back, Flemming in behind him and Kole needs taking out of the firing line.

He's certainly lookos a confidence player and think Parker will stick with him.

I thought the performance was decent. Defence, especially the centre half pairing, solid again. Much better in the second half from Anthony. Koleosho a bit hit and miss.

Brownhill and Flemming need to offer more, for me.

Robbed, obviously.

But a country mile off where we need to be even if we had got the 3 points.

My faith in Parker takes another knock.
hahahaha, just because we didn't win when theoretically we did! Mixed things up, created several chances, actually scored and rarely looked like conceding. You're clearly a half glass empty sort if you can't see the improvements in that performance.

Im watching football a long time probably 55 years. And thats probably one of the worst refereeing i have ever see.A definite goal no question. And in general a 100% homer. Definitely had a bet on West Brom tonight.

Flemming header

Don't know how to feel about that game. We were robbed by the ref and it was a slightly better performance than the weekend. But I am starting to wonder how long we should give Parker and the team to show us that they can improve going forward.

Played better, unlucky with the disallowed goal (though we have benefited from some not given against us so won't complain).

Liked Flemming's movement, he found himself in great positions a couple of times but wasn't picked out.

Like the way the full backs got forward tonight and put in crosses.

Our performance tonight was a massive improvement and sets the tone going forward and the goals will come.

The only time he took his man on the outside he put in a decent cross. Why doesn’t he do this more often ?

When Koleosho actually went on the outside , he put a great ball in . Unfortunately he doesn't do it enough. Poor tonight from both Fleming and Brownhill , but a good away point .

Decent performance that. Keep some reality, if we hadn't had a few poor results recently you'd take a point away at West Brom every day of the week. Better going forward. Still need a striker, it's not Flemming.

Lot better-not many will win at the Hawthornes.Great game for Egan and I thouggt Pires looked good too. Disappointments for me were Koleosho who was moved to his best position-only good thing he did was right at the end when he went outside and put in a great cross .Sarmiento and Anthony put in good shifts.Parker has an issue in midfield and tonight Brownhill was inconspicuous and at least3 poor games in a row .Going to take a brave decision but for Sunday Laurent in for Brownhill

Compared to Millwall, that was infinitely better. And credit to Parker for trying something new to get us more on the front foot. It worked I thought, though obviously not perfect. West Brom weren't far off promotion last year, and we were clearly the better side. And I can only see one side improving significantly by May and that's us.

I'm heartened by that, alongside being livid we got robbed.

Much improved and we had chances (scored 1 too!). Ref made both teams struggle tonight though, terrible decisions against both teams but none more so than the perfectly good goal disallowed.

I thought overall we were ok. I’m not sure I’m quite seeing the good performance (I thought the quality on both sides was particularly poor if I’m honest).

Sarmiento looks to be our most technically talented player and must start moving forward.

Koleosho had potentially one of the worst individual performances I’ve seen in years.

Egan Riley looks to be coming on (thought he looked pretty decent).

Flemming was really disappointing imo, consistently lost the ball, gave away stupid fouls all game and I’m not sure this position suits him at all.

I actually thought Anthony looked half decent on the right tbh

Better, without being especially good.

And frankly, never mind Egan-Riley and Anthony; first person up in front of the cameras for a post-match interview tonight to explain very clearly what he actually saw to disallow that goal.

He's got a long time to run it down if that's the case.
What does he care. He's been given the armband, probably to give him added motivation, but we all know he ain't captain material and has never been a leader for us. I guess the management team are just trying to keep him happy and relevant, but he's cheesed off with the fans and has never got the recognition he feels he deserves. He's happy enough with plenty of midfielders in the team as it gives him more chance to just hide. In fact, the 1st time mentioned in this thread tonight was "Is Brownhill playing?" That's how much he did all night. But it's a recurring theme apart from an odd goal every so often. I hope he leaves in Jan personally and we get some sort of fee, but it's funny how we've always wanted to keep him, and I guess that's because he ain't got much value so might as well get everything we can out of him.
