Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
Please Koleosho, just try to go on the outside, just once.
Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
Its looking very like this bunch players are just not good enough for this level.
Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
Koleosho trying to grab his man again. I wish he would stop doing that.
Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
We are stuck with Plug and Play Parkerball aren’t we. This is dreadful stuff. He won’t change anything up either.
Only a matter of time before he’s out on his ear again

Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
I think he has changed slightly. We're definitely shooting and crossing more often than we have been.
Kind of underwhelming if that's it, though.

Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
I’ve been watching Burnley 62 years and 90% of that time they are unable to play a pass in front of a team mate with 30 yds of grass to run into. It goes to feet and the move is stalled instead of increasing momentum and turning defenders.

Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
Egan-Riley is by far and away our most progressive passer. Frequently, he's just about the only player who seems interested in passing it forwards.
There is something very, very wrong with our system and tactics.

Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
He needs to get someone on up front, it’s drifting (again). Changing Laurent for Cullen in the 70th isn’t the impetus gain required, get Jay or Hountondji on and go two up.
Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
My sky sports+ is showing darts, which is more boring than a 0-0 with a few shots.
Yesterday, though, I went to see grimsby at Wimbledon and watched a decent game played at high tempo, lots of shots, some saves, and a bit of sumo wrestling from omar bugiel.
Not every team is trying to play pep all. Even man city have suddenly become bad at it.

Bit of pressure building, mainly down the right.
Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
Always the opposition manager who makes subs first and freshens it up we are far too slow to make changes

we don't create too much, but it might help if we could shoot when we do get an opportunity!

Best chance of the game, Swansea’s. Esteve off the line.
Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread

At least Big Steve is doing the business again.
Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
From a Koleosho poor pass, then inability to track a runner which brownhill clearer pointed at and told him to track
Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
Change it Parker, for the love of god
Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
Trafford should have collected that.

Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
Sell him and foster in Jan and get some attackers in would be better.
Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
Pires offered something going forward, baffling sub.

Are we playing for 0-0 ?? Get a forward on
Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
How Brownhill, Cullen, Anthony and Flemming are still on the pitch after this 70 mins of desolation is one of the markers why we are where we are

Why!!! Why on earth take an attacking fullback off for a more defensive minded one. Criminally negative. Get a striker on now !

The contact on the goal on Thursday v the no penalty there. I just don’t understand refereeing anymore.

Pires the only player to put a decent cross in all afternoon and Parker takes him off. Mind boggling.

Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
Not that bad a performance, it's just that with the squad we actually have available we're not really any better than most of the teams we're playing.
We're doing OK considering we don't actually have a centre forward available who Parker feels is worth playing for more than ten minutes.

Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
We simply must buy a starting striker in January and play Flemming as 10
Re: Burnley v Swansea MATCH Thread
I can’t get my head round the tactics, we lose the ball in the final third and everyone just turns round and runs back 40 yards. Like a League 1 team away at a prem side in the FA cup. Cue the ‘to a man I thought we were great’ bull sh1t that were fed after every game
