Started quite well but they’ve just had the first chance that we cleared off the line before the shot from the rebound was deflected wide for a corner.

It’s cold. A certain Mr Farrell expressed his surprise that I was here tonight, suggesting it might be too cold for me.

40 mins: Burnley 4 Luton 0, Ryan

Well worked move down the left led to Ryan having an easy chance.

The only negative in the first half is McDermott, Tweedy & Healy-Byrne all picking up yellow cards.

If you've got Hive, don't forget to put your heating on Tony.....its a bit chilly indoors never mind at the footy !

I can't help feeling he's probably about 30 years old by now!! But it's still great to see he's back playing.

Still 4-0. Much quieter this half as often happens with a big first half lead.

Yes. He's been around a bit now and had incredibly bad luck with the injuries.

What do you think of McDermott, I saw him at Wolverhampton and was quite impressed with him, is he first team material yet?

Looks as though the defender didn’t get a touch so goal scorer was Ly.

Enjoyable watching the under 21s right now. Probably lead was so big at half time we took our foot off the gas a bit.

I’ve been impressed with him but playing at this level is a long way from first team level. Having said that, sometimes a player just needs that opportunity.

I saw him against Coventry and thought he was the stand out player. Wore black boots too!

Yes. I guess they may have been very dark navy blue but they really stood out amongst the other colours. In the same way that all those years ago Alan Hinton's white hummel boots stood out amongst all the black ones. He looked a very good player though.

Remember Alan Ball playing in white boots way back, too. :)

I had a pair of Alan Ball boots.

They didn't make me play like him though, I should have taken them back.
