Good game, however I think they missed a penalty for us, I'd like to see the replay.
It helps though when there are 2 clean teams.

Good to see a referee who seems to want to keep the game moving and allowing players to play. Well done to him.

Not a bad performance ... didn't blow up willy nilly and let the game flow (mostly)

I don't know why I specifically chose 22 for all marks but he was as good a ref as I've seen in this league

Some refs, when faced with a game that hasn't many fouls and doesn't need bookings, go ahead and give free kicks and bookings anyway. This chap didn't.

Thought he did well, albeit in a relatively easy game to referee. Neither side really caused him any issues with time-wasting, rolling around etc.
Two decent referees in two games... what a time to be alive!

A good performance but how he missed the penalty in the first half and why the lino didn't support him in awarding it is a mystery

What a refreshing change to have a ref who just wanted to quietly get on and do his job. I was slightly concerned in the first few mins as he gave a couple of cheap free kicks but then he just cracked on and let the game flow. Amazing how the players stop rolling around when they know they aren't going to get a freekick!
Well done ref! Scores have to be 22 across the board from me.

Really good to see so many good scores for a referee on this thread. As rare as hen’s teeth

Only watched on tv so no ratings but thought he was excellent, pleasing to see only one card!
Think it would have been harsh on Coventry if we had been given a penalty, would not have been happy if it had been given against us.

I only watched the game on tv and I thought he was very good. With regard to the 'penalty', when they slowed it down at half time, it looked like a definite penalty as their player had his arm outstretched when the ball hit it and I think it would have been awarded with VAR. However, the same thing could be said regarding Brownhill during the Bristol City match. In both games, it happened very fast and I can understand the officials not seeing it. I prefer games without VAR so you have to accept that the officials are human and can't see everything.
