Another cracking result.
It's coming on slowly but we're scoring now.

Great performance that especially second half, you could see the confidence in the way they were pinging it about. We looked like we had 2 or 3 players more than them we absolutely smothered them. 4 wins in the trot and no goals conceded in 5 is some going and great scenes at the end with players and fans. UTC

It's a while since I have seen our fans so jubilant at a game.
It was some away end in the 2nd half.

Re: Stoke v Clarets.
Interestingly, we now have the 2nd best goal scoring difference in the lge + 17. Only Leeds better at +18

Much better second half with Laurent pushing further forward and becoming more effective. Cullen was outstanding, Esteve, CJ and Trafford excellent in defence. I still think Koleosho and Anthony are too wasteful up front and need to improve their final ball. But another excellent three away points albeit against a poor Stoke team.

Re: Stoke v Clarets.
Sheffield United do have a tough run of games but have you seen our next eleven fixtures?CrosspoolClarets wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 4:43 pmA reminder that the Blades have just entered a horrible run of fixtures, with about 7 really tough games in 10.
Need to win this, then the Boro game feels really important. That’d put us miles clear of them, Sunderland sinking, and the Blades probably about to drop points.
Personally I’m sticking with the bookies pre season favourites and the two biggest squad values - us and DL.
It includes:-
Middlesbrough - Home and Away
Watford - Home
Norwich - Away
Sheffield United - Away
Blackburn - Away
Sunderland - Home
Leeds - Home
I'd say our run is marginally tougher.

Poor/ Average first half. Excellent second half.

Just got back from a day-session in Leeds.... superb. A mixture of Leeds fans, Hull fans, Sheffield Wednesday fans, Burnley fans and a Charlton fan.
As much as it pains us, Rovers winning was the best result.

Re: Stoke v Clarets.
I think things are finally starting to click.
Couldn’t knock that performance, I think we are starting to become a real powerhouse in the league.
Having watched a bit of the Leeds game today. I really
Do believe it’s between Sheffield, Leeds and Burnley for the top 2.

Re: Stoke v Clarets.
Just come on to have a look at the comments having just got back from a good away win today.
Should have known better, it's still cluttered with the internet ever-presents who just use this forum to get digs in at each other.
At least the Burnley players and fans got outside today and got some fresh air. Well played Burnley.

Re: Stoke v Clarets.
Best way to overcome any negativity is to post some positivity!
That was some result today, to win 3 games in just over a week is nothing to sniffed at, brilliant effort. Particularly pleased to see that different players have contributed as well, not just 11 players. Still a few big players to come back from injury as well.
Hopefully the atmosphere will be more lively on Friday night. I always try to make a bit of noise, but I am going to put a bit of extra effort in to support the lads, if everyone does the same the place could be rocking.

Re: Stoke v Clarets.
Stoke away is one of those games where the best teams in the league should win, but they drop points. And fans walk away wondering why we only drew when it was an 'easy win'. It's a massive 3 points.Poulton-le-Claret wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 8:24 pmBest way to overcome any negativity is to post some positivity!

My last two games have been Sheff Wed and today. Both great team performances with many similarities, and both great days
