Cant remember the exact match but Owen Coyle came on as a sub and played in goal for the last 10 mins of a League Cup game when he was our manager.

The teaser's about Burnley, not Leeds.

John Spicer?
That’s who I meant, not Brian Stock! Think both played for Bournemouth

I was at Stoke away when Monnington went in and he actually did really well. From memory he was forced to go in from fairly early on. Andy Farrell was good when he went in too, but that was way back and I feel it was only in the closing stages of the match.

John Spicer. Away at Luton or QPR. Can’t remember. We won though

Spicer went in goal in the famous Ade Akinbiyi hat-trick win at Luton if that's the game you mean.

Can remember Spicer dancing around and suddenly looking tiny in the goalframe.

What an unforgettable day out.

Spicer was far from being a keeper! Somehow we hung on. Well done Ade and the defence, that day!
