Harris resigns - Millwall
As per the title, Neil Harris has stepped down as manager at Millwall. Seems like a strange one this

Re: Harris resigns - Millwall
He’s a very emotional man, some of his footage shows how high and low he gets at results and who loves the club deeply. Not surprised at all he wanted to resign given their sudden drop off in form, but I am surprised that they have not fought harder to keep him on.Poulton-le-Claret wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2024 1:30 pmAs per the title, Neil Harris has stepped down as manager at Millwall. Not good timing for us. Was hoping for a point for them tomorrow against SU.

Yeah I was expecting(/hoping) they were going to find form again, given the next 3 fixtures are Sheffield Utd, Middlesbrough and Rovers - guess they will all be licking their lips at a likely 3 pts each now.elwaclaret wrote: ↑Tue Dec 10, 2024 1:34 pmHe’s a very emotional man, some of his footage shows how high and low he gets at results and who loves the club deeply. Re: Harris resigns - Millwall
Im sure Ive read somewhere that he made some disparaging remarks about the fans after the Cov game, but whether this is connected I dont know.

Millwall fans were never going to take that well.
They don't like compliments

Only just saw his comment - thanks to RV.
“You miss Romain [Esse], you miss Japhet [Tanganga] and you miss Jake Cooper. Three players that probably get in anybody’s Championship team. So just a reminder to people, the thickos, that when you take the three best players out of the team that this is Millwall Football Club.”

Re: Harris resigns - Millwall
I’m pretty certain he had testicular cancer whilst still playing.
Re: Harris resigns - Millwall
I was chatting with a Millwall supporter the other day. Complete with MILLWALL tattooed on his knuckles.
His view on Neil Harris was that in his words Harris was Sh*t
Well there you have it

Re: Harris resigns - Millwall
He's a Millwall man and it's rather sad this has happened. In this latest spell he's done very well and as he implies, the club is not as well endowed with players as the likes of us yet, with all he has available, they are beating us.
