New way to watch on Boxing Day
New way to watch on Boxing Day
Going to COSM LA (https://www.cosm.com/the-experience) with my youngest. Means a 5:00am start, but looks like an experience! Let's hope the early rise is worth it by bringing home 3 points.

Looks awesome, enjoy.

Seen videos of these, looks brilliant. Also seen a video of a steward sat in front of a camera they were using as well

Looks remarkable. Let us know what it’s like afterwards. Seems as though we are only a few steps away from a Star Trek holodeck

Tried to upload a couple of videos to Youtube (hope it works). Anyway, first one is the overall stadium view, which is massive and would be great, if they just let us watch the game like that. The other two show the different angles they switched to at certain points, near the corner flag (which was OK 'cause it felt like we were sitting next to the Burnley fans (you can''t see it on the video). Then also behind the goal - you think Souttar is a big unit live? try seeing him on a 60ft screen! The commentary seems to be a bit behind the play and was LOUD.
Interesting experience, not sure I would do it again and even though it was available, 7:00am was bit early for a pint.

Re: New way to watch on Boxing Day
Looks a good experience
Did the views change when there was a break in play?
Minor point but I’m not sure about the view changing during the game though
Thought one of the main points was that it felt like you were attending the game itself, and you wouldn’t be able to “switch seats/stands during a game

Re: New way to watch on Boxing Day
Looks incredible potentially. Probably needs to be produced properly with the host broadcaster to makes it work as well as it could. But feels like you're really there on that initial side view
Re: New way to watch on Boxing Day
Yeah, the camera changed without notice and it took a second to find the ball again. I think I would prefer them just keeping the one camera where you see the whole pitch.
It was pretty quiet inside the theatre and with the commentary so loud, you couldn't really hear the actual crowd. Would have helped if there were more fans here and involved, but 7:00am and it's only going to be die hard Sheff / Burnley fans there. A Utd / City game, for example, would probably have brought out more locals.
It was fun however, walking out with a $hitass grin on my face and seeing quite a few people wearing red and white striped shirts looking really glum! What a performance!

Re: New way to watch on Boxing Day
I’ve seen videos of grown adult Liverpool fans dressed in full kit complete with scarves at these showings and it looks a bit weird and cringey to me.
Re: New way to watch on Boxing Day
Agree Burnley FC. I didn't see any BFC shirts, but one group of Sheff U fans also had some sort of professional cameraman with them filming the whole experience. Would love to find THAT video! Must have cost a pretty penny to watch your team get schooled like that!
