More we may have to pay an extra fee / a fine sort of if he doesn’t play. A number of prem clubs have them inserted into young loan players contracts. As i say its just speculation but i stick by i don’t think we need a left back anyway, the two we have are good enough at this level.

We already know all about VKs disaster signing, "Magic' cba Tressor. He showed no desire or aptitude to play when given some opportunities last season. Offloading anywhere is a must.Leeds are a team built on grafters and Tressor is not a player that they would be remotely interested in.

Can’t see why Tresor would swap one championship club for another.
Poor from Nixon to charge for a story that our owner has already discussed for free

Read the forum, some of it got deleted in various posts at the time, but there’s enough there to get you started.

Very strange story, I’m calling Nixon BS.
There’s no way we’d want him to play before he left, that’s complete nonsense. And there’s no way we’d let him leave to a promotion rival, whether they wanted him or not.

Would trying to get Tresor to actually play the odd game before we sell him increase or decrease any potential transfer fee ?

Don’t know anything about Thomas but there’s no way we’ll be in for a LB with Humphreys and Pires able to play there and Dodgson on the books.KlyBfc wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 8:40 amI will be suprised if we sign a left back. The two we have, have played a part in conceding only 9 goals, i cant see Parker being concerned in that area. I also feel Humphreys loan contract might have him needing to play a certain amount of games or we have to pay Chelsea. Thats only speculation but hes played or come on as a sub in almost every game hes been available for including playing out of position on the right side on occasions.
And to add to that Luke Thomas isn’t any better than either of them. Very average player.
I’m a fan of Pires but last few games Humphreys has looked much better going forward and is clearly the better defender so that’s his position now.
Makes me think the rest of the article is rubbish too.

Re: January Transfer Window Rumours
Good point. Hopefully we’re now benefiting from his experiences elsewhere as a manager. Part of the problem with Kompany was that he was so young and inexperienced whereas Parker has been around the block a bit and also had some time out to reflect.mybloodisclaret wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 12:38 amWhilst we have always been there or thereabouts this season, I think there has already been a fair degree of pressure like when we scored 4 goals in 8 games.
He's been calm and steady. It bodes well for the battles ahead.

Maybe the Kosovon mafia have turned in him rather than trying to kill VK, and he’s feeling the pressure.Stonehouse wrote: ↑Sat Dec 28, 2024 5:50 pmI was one of Muric’s fans but he’s definitely crashed and burned since the back end of last season however I don’t think anyone can deny what cracking entertaining he gave us in his first season.

Re: January Transfer Window Rumours
Humphreys isn’t a concern…..but I personally don’t think Pires is up to the required standard. Therefore, another left back (maybe a specialist left back with a bit of experience) would strengthen us and allow squad rotation with Humphreys. Pires is a very strange player but ultimately I don’t think he’s good enough for what we need.KlyBfc wrote: ↑Sun Dec 29, 2024 8:40 amI will be suprised if we sign a left back. There is more chance of me playing for Man City than Europe’s leading assist maker being sold to our biggest rivals for promotion. We know he has talent so it is way too big a risk it could backfire.

We could crowd fund and buy Tresor this iconic chippy to continue the legends theme in Brierfield.

I served my apprenticeship at a garage In Brierfield so just for fun I Googled that address. Lo and behold I used to go to that restaurant to pick up meat pudding /chips most Fridays before it was owned by Connelly. I distinctly remember that sharp U turn. Small world innit?

It's imperative we sort out Josh Brownhills contract as at present we don't seem to have any ready replacement coming through
Re: January Transfer Window Rumours
Can't imagine Brownhill would take a pay cut to go to Rangers? Likely to be his last good contract.

If the other rumours are true, then he may be willing to go to Fiorentina and Lazio.
They are more likely to progress in the European comps than Rangers or Celtic

I'd be surprised if Rangers had anybody on that sort of money. I can see him ending up as as a squad player at somewhere like Wolves or West Ham.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2024 9:53 amNot sure it would be a pay cut.
