The Overreaction Count.
So far this evening;
1 “I don’t want him (Hannibal) to play for the club again.”
2 Speculation whether “Mr Negativity” (Parker) would rather be in the record books as the team conceding the lowest goals tally than making a genuine attempt to win promotion.
3 Trafford nearly cost us the game late on.
4 Cotterill’s 19 game winless run was more enjoyable.
5 Burnley are boring……….
Can only imagine the “Out of My Tiny Mind” vlog is recording as I type.

Re: The Overreaction Count.
If you are looking for undereactions, I think you might find a few as well.
It will get to the point where we trundle along towards promotion and the overeactions and the undereactions just become marginal and apathy will have set in good and proper.

6 - weakest Championship we’ve seen in a long while
Good luck with the count once that vlog has dropped.

It really says it all that this board is substantially busier when we lose or don’t win when we are expected too
Sad really

Re: The Overreaction Count.
Yes some serious over reaction, but our passes , even the simple ones, and our shooting were poor, with very little urgency or a will to win it. This is a game we could easily have lost
Re: The Overreaction Count.
Yes, I can’t agree with the comments as highlighted by the OP, although I do understand the frustrations of those fans who make them.
That being said, these types of performances have become stage norm somewhat, especially at home and the goals for column across the season so far doesn’t lie.
Objectively, I therefore do think it’s reasonable to ask questions of the manager and his playing style which clearly works away from home but equally clearly needs tweaking at home. Failure to do so could end up costing us a top 2 place in the long run because we can’t keep drawing blanks at home to teams who are near the bottom of the league.

Re: The Overreaction Count.
I agree the league is awful
Re: The Overreaction Count.
It’s no more ‘******* dreadful’ than when we went up last time and won the league. Maybe we were just lucky that year how dreadful it was, I mean Luton got promoted.

Have to admit I think the general standard of the league is really poor this season.

Re: The Overreaction Count.
Yeah the league then was awful and we capitalised at this stage of the season by going on a 10 game winning run
Re: The Overreaction Count.
Leeds are a better team, by far, than anything that was in that league, for a start. I read they have the largest wage bill of any side at this level, ever. Sunderland have improved a young squad who have developed since then and Sheff Utd are performing far better than the other 2 relegated sides did that season. I’d also say there’s no absolute shockers at the bottom like Wigan & Huddersfield.123EasyasBFC wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 7:26 pmYeah the league then was awful and we capitalised at this stage of the season by going on a 10 game winning run

I meant competition to us. And in my view they are better than what Sheff Utd were, their squad is a joke for this level.123EasyasBFC wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 7:34 pmLeeds aren’t better than what us ams sheff united were in 22/23

Re: The Overreaction Count.
Man United have the 3rd biggest wage bill, it means nothing. Leeds are no more than decent or good on a better day, there isn't a really good side in this league at all, everyone is much of a muchness imhoRVclaret wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2025 7:29 pmLeeds are a better team, by far, than anything that was in that league, for a start. Re: The Overreaction Count.
5 is correct. We are fairly effective overall, but my god it's boring to watch at times.
