Anyone got the still of Flemming’s celebration? Need to send it to a dear Blackburn based friend of mine.

Trafford was immense. Completely different keeper to the one that got barged off the ball last season against Luton.THEWELLERNUT70 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 04, 2025 2:29 pmI thought bar one blip Trafford was outstanding today because they obviously targeted him

Special shout to Flemming he’s been feeding of scraps yet still manages to score.
I thought he was square peg in a round hole but actually I think if we can improve service to him he will score goals

Not the prettiest, but what a hard fought game that was.
Our defence is just immense, Esteve and CJ have to be the best in the league for their ages

Re: Match Thread
Great win. Egan Riley terrific but Esteve and Cullen also immense. Eustace looking a poor loser.

Re: Match Thread
Good for SP had us playing long when we needed to ,and those critical of Flemming apart from his goal he’s brilliant for backing into the defenders, and I reckon he’ll learn to play as a number 9.

Re: Match Thread
Three incredibly massive points against a team of cheating b&stards. Our defense is brilliant, our midfield is okay, our front three is too weak, we need to strengthen with much more power up front.

Re: Match Thread
Traff was superb today - got lots of good punches on and didn't let himself get bullied. He's really used last season as a learning experience which is to be commended, lesser players would've crumbled. Good on him.

Just went on LiveScore to wallow in the table and clicked on the form button, pleasantly surprised to see Bastards are bottom.

Re: Match Thread
Trafford not really troubled but Blackburn was crowding him on the corners...its tough to command the box when you can't move around.
Not really his fault and it certainly didn't help that Blackburn got away with shirt pulling the whole game.

Needs to change Sarmiento/Anthony so we can keep possession, and Laurent so he doesn't get a second yellow, but he'll probably wait until they score.

Bloody hell lads, we’ve just won at Rovers and all you’re interested in is getting digs in at each other.
Re: Match Thread
Anyone got a link to the "since Rovers beat us clock" I can't find it

Not that it matters now but did anyone else feel it was a clear pen on Flemming? Bizarre the ref gave a foul the other way.

Re: Match Thread
Quality bit of housery at the end by Flemming... Grabbed the corner flag, put his Burnley shirt on top and ran around as we had conquered Ewood. Blackburn fans absolutely losing their mind, police ended up forming a line across them, whilst Flemming was oblivious and laughing his head off before launching the flag in front of our fans.

Great win. Not good for the nerves this fixture.
Their messageboard will provide some pleasant reading material later this evening.

Disagree. Started off happy to let things go and both sides benefited from that, he was even handed to begin with I thought.
Although what has since transpired makes me wonder if that was a conscious effort on his part or whether it was just blind luck.

I just decided to keep my opinions to myself more. This isn't a safe place for opinions.
Our defense were absolute Gods today. If we get some players who can attack, we could be a good team.

Re: Match Thread
I am not too sure what the ultras are on about either. I haven't seen anything too bad and I can't think of anyone with egg on their faces.
It was another game where we've been really solid and excellent defensively, but disjointed and struggling to link effectively in attack, and it at times isn't great to watch. If that summary is wildly nonsensical or negative to you then Im not really sure what to say
